Abstract: PURPOSE: A head reinforcing structure of a steel pipe pile is provided to improve assembly efficiency and quality for a reinforcing structure of a steel pipe pile and to enhance a weak structure against initial tensile force. CONSTITUTION: The head reinforcing structure of a steel pipe pile comprises a backing plate(22) interposed from the upper side of a steel pipe pile(10) to support filled concrete and connected to the lower end of a reinforcing bar(100) by a connecting ring(22a), a coupler(20) connected to the backing plate(22) by several rods(24) and composed of a fastening ring(26) and a bearing ring(28) to support the backing plate(22), and several bracing blocks(30) bolted around the steel pipe pile(10) to oppose initial tensile force and compressive force of the concrete filled in the steel pipe pile(10).
