Abstract:
A direction-finding antenna using a phase comparison method is provided to operate five antenna elements more stably by providing a common reference ground plane to five antenna elements through an installation of a simple ground plate. A direction-finding antenna using a phase comparison method includes antenna arrays(101-105), transmission units(106,107) and a metal grounding part(108). The antenna array has a plurality of antenna elements which are vertically arranged on a circumference having a predetermined radius. The transmission units are connected to the antenna arrays and transmit an antenna signal. The metal grounding part grounds the antenna arrays. The direction-finding antenna has a multi-layer structure having the same central axis. The antenna elements are alternatively arranged to have a different angle from antenna elements of a different direction-finding antenna.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for assuming predetermined incidence angle/azimuth angle by using a steering vector is provided to record the predetermined incidence angle/azimuth angle in a recording medium by measuring the predetermined incidence angle/azimuth angle using a steering vector. CONSTITUTION: A steering vector is measured with respect to a first predetermined azimuth angle and a second predetermined incidence angle(200). Then, a dimension of an azimuth angle interpolation is determined(201). If a primary azimuth angle interpolation is selected, two azimuth angles are selected in order to determine an azimuth angle in a direction of the steering vector and a phase of a second incidence angle(202). If a quadratic azimuth angle interpolation is selected, one azimuth angle is selected in order to determine an azimuth angle in a direction of the steering vector and a phase of a second incidence angle. Then, a space spectrum is displayed by assuming the steering vector.
