A method and an apparatus for allocating resources in a wireless LAN system are disclosed. The method for allocating resources according to one embodiment comprises the steps of determining a restricted access bandwidth (RAB) section based on at least one of multiple bandwidths or at least one of a partial bandwidth; and setting a restricted access window (RAW) in a time domain based on the RAB section.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An efficient scanning method for a wireless local area network (LAN) is provided to reduce the initial setup link time on a wireless LAN after an STA (STAtion) searches for an access point (AP). CONSTITUTION: An RSN IE (Information Element) is added to a probe request in order to inform an AP about the capability of an STA. The secure processing capability of the corresponding STA informs through a probe request frame. A new field is defined in order to accurately inform the capability and preference of the STA. The new field is called a capability filter information element. The new field is included in the probe request. PURPOSE: A data frame generating/transmitting/receiving method and apparatus thereof are provided to secure compatibility of data frame transmission/reception through supply of a data frame format. CONSTITUTION: A data frame generating unit generates a first sub frame(S701). The data frame generating unit generates one or more second sub frames(S703). The data frame generating unit generates a data frame including the first and second sub frames(S705). The first and second sub frames include length information of an MPDU(MAC Protocol Data Unit) in the first and second sub frames. The length information of the MPDU in the second sub frame is zero.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An automatic gain control device and a method thereof are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost of a chip in which half duplex communication system is applied. CONSTITUTION: A digital signal processing unit(400) generates a digital gain control code by using predetermined reference signal and digital receive signal. A multiplexer(500) provides the generated digital gain control code to a transmission path. A DAC(Digital Analog Converter)(700) converts the digital gain control code into the gain control signal. A demultiplexer(800) transfers the gain control signal to the variable gain amplifier(310). In a receiving mode, the multiplexer is connected to DAC on the transmission path through the control unit.

PURPOSE: A DMB service terminal for performing handover based on position information, and a handover control apparatus and a device therefor are provided to perform handover based on distance information between a service terminal and a base station, thereby simply configuring technical configuration. CONSTITUTION: A position perceiving unit(110) grasps present position information of a terminal. A base station information storage unit(130) stores a plurality of base station information in which location information is included. A handover performing unit(120) decides whether to perform handover based on the present position information and the stored base station information. The handover performing unit performs handover according to the determination result. A channel information storage unit(140) stores channel information about one or more neighboring base stations.

A device and a method for detecting executable compression of an executable program are provided to detect the executable compression from a mutated PE(Portable Executable) file, the PE file having a modified or corrected file header, and the file having a knowledge executable compression pattern. An abnormal PE file format detecting module(42) checks over whether a target file is executable by including an executable file format, and checks a PE file section name and property of the executable file. An abnormal instruction checking module(44) determines whether an instruction moved to a memory range area of other section by checking the instruction of a section including an entry point of the doubtable executable file based on a checking result. An executable compression determining module(46) determines that the executable compression is applied to the target file when the instruction moving to the memory range area of other sections is found. The target file is provided from an external storing part(20) by a command of a key input part(10).

A fault managing system and a method using satellite telemetering technology are provided to quickly maintain and repair a defective part of devices installed in the remote place or an unmanned region, by checking the abnormality and fault state of the devices and information about the defective part through a satellite in real time. A fault managing system(10) using satellite telemetering technology is composed of a remote measuring and sensing unit(11) for detecting the abnormal state of devices(40) installed and operated in the remote place or an unmanned region, by collecting remote measurement data from the devices through a satellite(30) in real time; a control unit(12) judging whether the devices are broken down or not, by comparing the remote measurement data with a unique performance value required for normal operation of the devices, analyzing the cause of the fault, and storing fault data in a fault data storage unit; a fault data analysis unit(13) managing and analyzing the fault data stored in the fault data storage unit; and a screen display unit(14) outputting a fault analysis result value on a screen.
