Abstract: PURPOSE: A data transmission/ receiving method in a wireless communication system and an apparatus thereof are provided to enhance the use of resources by selecting a modulation and encoding scheme in consideration of a channel state and the kind of data. CONSTITUTION: A data transmitting apparatus determines the priority of data(102). In addition, the data transmitting apparatus determines the priority of channels according to a channel state(104), and selects the modulation and encoding schemes for the data according to the priority(106). Abstract: A method for designing and verifying a DIF for a giga-class high speed wireless communication system using a multiple antenna is provided to transmit eight streaming signals at the same time by using eight multiple antennas. Abstract: A MAC(Media Access Control) protocol in a wireless local area network and a data transmission method using the same are provided to make a wireless LAN terminal device request allocation of necessary bandwidth by a super frame unit to allocate the bandwidth by a wireless LAN base station in order to release allocation of unnecessary bandwidth, thereby efficiently using a limited bandwidth. If there is an uplink which is not allocated to any terminal device, a wireless LAN terminal device transmits a BR(Bandwidth Request) frame to a wireless LAN base station requesting necessary bandwidth through a short uplink or the uplink(302,303).
