The present invention relates to a service providing technology of a multilateral video conference. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for providing participant information on a video conference screen comprises: a first step of receiving participant mapping information and mixed media data based on layout set information from a media server; a second step of receiving user relation information or user profile from a database; a participant information processing step of processing the received participant mapping information into recognizable participant information based on the received user relation information and user profile; and a screen outputting step of outputting the processed participant information by being linked with the received media data on a screen.

PURPOSE: An online information providing method which utilizes image information is provided to search and provide information including an advertisement which is related to an image which exists online by utilizing an image which mixes text information and a graphic including a picture which is provided from a user terminal. An original image which corresponds to an object image is searched by using the each characteristic of the text area, the graphic area, and the important text area (S40). PURPOSE: A device for managing a topic map related to a user concern keyword, a method thereof, an advertisement service device using a topic map, and a method thereof are provided to express the degrees of user concern for each field by collecting the keywords of a user, thereby enabling a service provider to recommend items suitable for the user concern or supplying an advertisement. CONSTITUTION: A topic map generation unit (120) generates a topic map which classifies keywords in order to be related to one or more determined topics. The keywords are obtained from web service information collected in a web service collection unit (110). A topic map learning unit (140) updates a topic map database (130) by learning a relation between a topic node and a keyword with the frequency and the time of the keyword. The operation and management server demands the output of configuration information to an operation and management agent(230). PURPOSE: A channel control unit and method for previously registering a channel using the same are provided to select channels which is registered previously base don a data about a broadcasting channel pattern of a user. CONSTITUTION: A pattern information collecting unit(110) collects data about a broadcasting channel change pattern of a user. A bandwidth managing unit(120) establishes a previous registration channel bandwidth. According to channel performance of the user, the channel selecting unit(130) selects channels to be previously registered. PURPOSE: A personalized contents recommending method and an apparatus thereof for recommending contents based on the user preference are provided to recommend broadcasting contents by recognizing contents preference of a user based on sensitivity about a contents description factor. A content profile unit(230) stores the technical elements of each content and the information of technical elements. A method for transferring an end-to-end data frame using virtual synchronization on a local area network and a network constituting apparatus are provided to secure service quality in the local area network without changing an existing Ethernet switch. A method for transferring an end-to-end data frame using virtual synchronization on a local area network includes the steps of: loading a virtual synchronization frame shaper for transmitting a frame through virtual synchronization between end stations(300,301,302,303) at a frame transmitting layer structure provided at the end stations(300,301,302,303) of transmitting/receiving sides passing through a plurality of Ethernet switches(322,324,326,328) in the local area network; mutually exchanging slot counters counted through the virtual synchronization frame shaper between the end stations(300,301,302,303), and synchronizing the slot counters; allocating transmitting time slots by the synchronized slot counters for transmitting the data frame between the end stations; and transmitting the data frame based on the synchronized slot counters and the allocated transmitting time slots.
