PURPOSE: A control device and method of a contents player are provided to control the basic function of the contents player with grip. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(101) measures the change of the tendon bundle form of muscle inside the wrist(120). In correspondence with the measured grip information of the sensor unit, a control status management unit(102) manages the control status of a contents player(110). The control status includes information about a connection state between the contents player and a control device(100). A control command generator(103) creates a control command of controlling the contents player on the basis of the grip information and the control status.

PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing local units using management agent in an Ethernet-PON(Passive Optical Network) and a recording medium thereof are provided to allow an operator to accurately recognize and effectively manage an operation state of a local unit. CONSTITUTION: A network management protocol communicating unit(212) converts a network management protocol message received from an Ethernet-PON manager system into an IPC message and transmits it to each function managing unit. A configuration managing unit(214) manages state information of a node, a module, a board and a port constituting each element. A performance managing unit(215) collects performance information of various types of ports of a host unit and local units. A failure managing unit(216) manages failure of a fan or a power supply unit as well as failure of the board or the port of each element. A local unit communicating unit(217) performs function of transferring operation management information of a local unit managed in a detailed management function and function of transferring an operation command requested by the detailed management function from the host unit to the local unit. A local unit operation managing unit(231) processes the operation command of the network manager system transferred from the local unit communicating unit(217), and transfers the performing result and an event generated from the local unit to the host unit.

Suggested are an apparatus and method for reproducing a haptic effect using a sound effect, capable of supplying a haptic effect to a user to maximize the efficient experience of the user by removing an element not requiring the haptic effect among frequency elements detected based on haptic effect information. The suggested apparatus for reproducing a haptic effect using a sound effect analyzes the frequency elements by obtaining the sound effect outputted from an electronic device in responsse to a user input event and an application, generates a haptic output message corresponding to the sound effect based on the analyzed frequency element and an adaptive audio filter which is dynamically changed according to the user input event and the application, and outputs the haptic effect based on the haptic output message.
