Abstract: 본 발명에 따른 OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) 시스템에서의 송신 장치는 각 채널별 송신 데이터를 인코딩하고 변조한 다음, 주파수 호핑 코드를 사용하는 각 채널이 점유하는 하나 이상의 부반송파와 하나 이상의 OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple) 심볼 구간으로 이루어진 호핑 블록에 변조된 데이터 심볼과 파일롯 심볼을 삽입한다. 그리고 확산인자가 상기 호핑 블록 크기와 동일한 서로 다른 2진 직교 코드를 이용하여 각 채널별 상기 호핑 블록을 시간 및 주파수 영역에서 2차원 확산시킨 후, 부반송파 및 OFDM 심볼 구간별로 더한 후, 셀 고유의 2진 확산 코드를 이용하여 스크램블링한다. 그리고 역 고속 푸리에 변환하고 CP(Cyclic Prefix)를 삽입하여 전송한다. 이렇게 하면, OFDMA 방식과 MC-CDMA(multicarrier-code division multiple access) 방식의 단점을 모두 극복할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A base station modem transmission device is provided to reduce loss according to additional resource use and processing time following to individual operation of an encoder and a modulator. CONSTITUTION: A layer 2 interface and modem transmission unit control device(100) processes and supplies necessary information to an encoding and modulation device(200) using information supplied from a layer 2 and a downlink logic channel. The encoding and modulation device mixes encoding and modulation functions suitable for each transmitted channel by downlink physical channel and downlink physical signal and transmits the mixed information to a resource allocation and OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) processing unit. The resource allocation and OFDM processing unit locates a region to a corresponding subcarrier transmitted with respect to the each downlink physical channel and the each downlink physical signal and a time fitting with the same. The resource allocation and OFDM processing unit sequentially performs a process of guard band insertion, IFFT and cyclic prefix addition and transmits the data to an RF device. Abstract: An apparatus and a method for modulating a base station are provided to modulate a physical channel per a sector to prevent interface conflict between hardware, thereby performing stable modulation. Abstract: A method for generating a downlink frame and a method for searching a cell are provided to improve cell searching performance by reducing interference between sectors by scrambling a short sequence to a scrambling sequence. A first shot sequence and a second short sequence expressing cell group information are generated. A first scrambling sequence and a second scrambling sequence determined by the first synchronous signal are generated. A down link frame including the first short sequence scrambled to the first scrambling sequence, the second short sequence scrambled to the second scrambling sequence and the third scrambling sequence, the second short sequence scrambled to the first scrambling sequence, and the first short sequence scrambled to the second scrambling sequence and the fourth scrambling sequence is generated(S530). The frame of the inputted downlink signal is transmitted through the transmission antenna(S540).

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for creating common channels in an uplink are provided to improve the receive ability of mobile stations by efficiently allocating resources in the case of creating common channels in a downlink. An apparatus for creating common channels for an uplink in a base station having a plurality of antennas comprises a common channel generation part(100), an antenna mapping part(400), a multiplexing part(500), and a scrambling part(600). The common channel generation part generates common channel signals to create a common channel to transmit common data which will be provided to a plurality of mobile stations through the downlink. The antenna mapping part maps the generated common channel signals to the antennas respectively.
