The present invention a method for managing a peer-to-peer (P2P) network. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an overlay management server, which controls the distribution of content on the P2P network which consists of at least one peer, receives distribution control information from a content provider server for generating the distribution control information in order to control the distribution of the content and controls the operation of the one peer on the P2P network on the basis of the received distribution control information. According to the present invention, a content provider can manage the P2P network by controlling the distribution of the content.

PURPOSE: A peer receiving data by using a peer-to-peer (P2P) network is provided to increase the resource efficiency of the P2P network. CONSTITUTION: A control part (410) divides data into multiple data pieces. The control part divides each of the divided data pieces into multiple data blocks. The control part determines the number of data blocks to receive from a corresponding peer by considering the uplink bandwidth of the corresponding peer connected to a P2P network. A reception part (430) receives the determined number of data blocks from the corresponding peer. The reception part reconfigures the data pieces and the data. PURPOSE: A spam block method and apparatus thereof are provided to effectively block IP(Internet Protocol) multimedia spam in IP application services by effectively identifying the IP multimedia spam. CONSTITUTION: A transmission unit(100) receives IP application. When the IP application is spam, the transmission unit blocks the IP application. A spam identification unit(200) receives the IP application from the transmission unit. The spam identification unit analyzes the content of the IP application or the protocol of the IP application. A control unit(300) controls the spam identification unit based on establishment for blocking spam. The control unit determines the spam of the IP application.

PURPOSE: A multimedia content processing apparatus and multimedia content transmission and reception method thereof are provided to minimize influence on a multimedia streaming service by analyzing messages related to multimedia content. CONSTITUTION: A neighbor peer processing unit(220) establishes a connection relationship between multimedia content and other peer in a P2P(Peer to Peer) network. A beneficiary peer processing unit(240) transmits a doner approval request message to other peer which includes the connection relationship. When a doner connection relationship which is able to receive the multimedia content is established with other peer through the doner approval request message, a content processing unit(250) processes the multimedia content received through the doner connection relationship.

A system for providing a conference service based on a SIP and a method thereof are provided to remove inconvenience which a user should remember a issuing process and an ID. A system for providing a conference service based on a SIP comprises the followings: an issuing unit which provides a conference ID to the conference master terminal(100); a participant registering unit(116) registering the participant information on a database according to receiving the ID of the conference master, the issued conference ID and a message setting up the participant information; a session conference control unit(118) generation the conference session by transmitting the message which includes the conference ID, to each terminal corresponding to the participant information.

A method and a system for call management in a stateful SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) proxy server are provided to delete call-related information stored in the proxy server efficiently by using a session timer when a call between SIP terminals abnormally ends. An INVITE message is received from an SIP transmitting terminal, and transmitted to an SIP receiving terminal(S210). When a 200 OK message is received from the SIP receiving terminal, a timer operates based on header contents of the 200 OK message, and then the 200 OK message is transmitted to the SIP transmitting terminal(S225). If a session update message is not received from the SIP receiving terminal before completion of the timer, call-related information of the SIP receiving terminal is deleted(S245).

A method and an apparatus for coping with a DoS(Denial of Service) attack in an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) proxy server are provided to filter DoS packets more suitably for SIP characteristics by separating DoS messages from normal signaling messages through a filtering technique for a specific IP address. An apparatus for coping with a DoS attack in an SIP proxy server comprises an SIP service logic(110) and an IP manager logic(120). The SIP service logic analyzes the IP address of an origination side which transmits SIP messages, separating normal messages from DoS messages according to preset filtering conditions, filters the DoS messages, and provides an SIP proxying service for the separated normal messages. The IP manager logic has an IP address management table(121) to manage information about originating IP addresses.

본 발명은 컨퍼런스 서비스 제공 방법과 그 장치, 컨퍼런스 서비스 제공을 위한 음성 데이터 제공 방법 및 그 장치를 개시한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 특별한 기능을 부가하지 않은 일반의 일반 SIP 단말에 사용하여 컨퍼런스 서비스를 제공할 수 있으며, 또한 일반 SIP 단말에게 회의 개설 및 제어에 대한 권한을 주며, 모든 참여자가 동등한 권리를 갖게되므로 개설자가 통화를 종료하더라도 회의 세션은 유효하게 유지되게 하며, 그리고 기 기정되지 않은 신규참여자도 간편하게 참여할 수 있는 방법을 제공하며, 예정된 참여자와의 통화 설정이 이루어지지 않더라도 재시도가 가능하게 하였으며, 기본적인 SIP 시그널 메시지를 통해 회의 속성에 대한 정보를 확인할 수 있는 방법을 제공하는 등 추가적인 비용투자없이 사용자에게 쾌적하며 간편하게 다자간 통화나 회의와 같은 컨퍼런스 서비스를 제공할 수 있다.
