Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for transmission of conditional access message for a terrestrial DMB is provided to reduce transmission capacitance of conditional access message. CONSTITUTION: A resource collector collects resources of vacant FIB(Fast information Block) and an MSC(Main Service Channel) domain among not used resources which are not used in each sub channel. The resource collector multiplexes the collected resource pieces(S110). The resource collector creates a conditional access message(S130). The resource collector transmits the conditional access message(S140). If the message transmission is completed, the resource collector completes the transmission of the conditional access message(S150,S160).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A position recognition apparatus using OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) watermarking and a method thereof are provided to calculate the position of a mobile terminal even GPS signal is not received or error is generated in GPS signal receiving. CONSTITUTION: A correlation character extracting unit(250) distinguishes OFDM transmitters based on the result of the correlation character extraction. The correlation character extracting unit calculates correlation characteristic peak values of OFDM transmitters which are obtained through matching filter. An OFDM position calculation unit(260) calculates distances from the OFDM transmitters according to the size of correlation character peak values of the OFDM transmitters. The OFDM position calculation unit calculates the position by using distance values of more than three OFDM transmitters.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for estimating the symbol timing of an input signal in an uplink cable modem and a device thereof are provided to estimate exact symbol timing by using a matched filter of preamble about the input signal of the uplink cable modem oversampled more than symbol speed. An uplink cable modem demodulator unit(420) estimates the symbol timing of the input signal by computing the count value of a matched filter and preamble.
