Abstract:

Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for performing direct communications between terminals and the terminal supporting the same are provided to obtain synchronization between the terminals performing direct communications by improving a synchronization channel structure. CONSTITUTION: Direct communications is performed with one or more second terminals using allocated resources for the direct communications between terminals. The resources include a synchronous channel which is used for frequency synchronization and time synchronization between the terminals. The synchronization channel includes a synchronization channel preamble which is used for either preamble detection, time offset estimation, frequency offset estimation, or channel estimation. The synchronization channel preamble is either a first sequence repeating a basic pattern or a second sequence combining the basic pattern with a pattern multiplying the basic pattern by (-1). One or more OFDM(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) symbols are used for transmitting the synchronization channel preamble.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A relay method of a terminal for communication of an emergency terminal in a mobile communication system is provided to enable a terminal within cell coverage to set up an emergency call. CONSTITUTION: Terminals are converted in an emergency call relay standby mode(S310). The terminals are synchronized with a base station(S320). The terminals are switched into an emergency call relay mode(S340). The terminals transmit a resource request message to the base station(S350). The terminals transmits a connection setup message to the emergency terminal(S370). The base station and the emergency terminal transmit data through a relay terminal(S390).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A direct communication execution method is provided to enable a terminal which locates in the outside to execute direct communication using fixedly allocated resources. CONSTITUTION: A terminal directly communicates with another terminal using a common direct communication resources(S200). When the terminal receives the allocation of separate direct communication resources, the terminal transmits information for the separate direct communication resources(S210,S220). The terminals executes direct communication using the common direct communication resources or the separate direct communication resources(S230). [Reference numerals] (230,240) Terminal; (AA) Base station; (S200) Direct communication using CDMZ; (S210) CDMZ allocation; (S220) Information transmission for CSDMZ using CDMZ; (S230) CDMZ and/or direct communication using CADMZ
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A base station, mobile station, and operation method thereof are provided to offer synchronization information by effectively synchronizing a relay candidate mobile station with a mobile station which requests an emergency call. CONSTITUTION: A base station(200) recognizes an emergency situation of a neighbor base station. The base station broadcasts the emergency situation notification information of the neighbor base station to one or more mobile stations(300) within service coverage. The base station broadcasts location calculation information. The location of the mobile station is calculated based on the location calculation information. In case the mobile station is located a cell edge of a neighbor base station direction, the mobile station broadcasts an emergency situation preamble.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A direct communication conducting method between terminals is provided to simultaneously support cellular communication and direct communication between terminals by mutually allocating basic direct communication resources regardless of a base station. CONSTITUTION: A first terminal and a second terminal share information for basically assigned direct communication resources(S900). The first terminal transmits data to the second terminal by using the basically assigned direct communication resources as the use of direct communication(S910). The first terminal receives the data from the second terminal by using the basic direct communication resource(S920). Control information is unnecessary to be transmitted for the direct communication resources by using resources for cellular communication. Influence on a legacy terminal which does not support inter-terminal direct communication is minimized.
