Abstract: PURPOSE: A fingerprint recognition system for enhancing personal information security of a car and a method for automatically setting a display function using the same are provided to enable a user to automatically set functions of a display device, show an E-mail or personal information to only the user having the same fingerprint, and prevent the user having no authority from using the display device. CONSTITUTION: A fingerprint recognition sensor(10) inputs the fingerprint of the user. A fingerprint recognition module(20) receives the fingerprint inputted through the fingerprint recognizes sensor. The display device(30) is operated only if fingerprint certification is succeeded by receiving the fingerprint from the fingerprint recognition module and discriminating the user according to received fingerprint information. A setting storing database(40) stores the fingerprint information of the user in order to automatically set the fingerprint information of the user and is connected to the setting storing database.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling a temperature of a car fingerprint recognition sensor with a thermoelectric semiconductor are provided to control the temperature of the fingerprint recognition sensor within an available temperature range regardless of temperature change according to driving condition of the car. CONSTITUTION: The device includes a DC power(140), a temperature sensor(110) detecting the temperature of the fingerprint recognition sensor(160), the thermoelectric semiconductor, and a controller(130). The thermoelectric semiconductor performs an endothermic or exothermic reaction for the fingerprint recognition sensor depending on a direction of supplied current by connecting one side to the DC power and making another end contacted to the fingerprint recognition sensor. The controller controls power supply and a current direction of the thermoelectric semiconductor based on the temperature detected in the temperature sensor.

Abstract: A fuel type recognition apparatus of a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to prevent damage to an engine by automatically recognizing the fuel type of the vehicle through a wireless communication between an oiler and the vehicle. A fuel type recognition apparatus of a vehicle includes an oiler(100), a switch(201), a communication unit(202), a controller(203), a relay(204), an oil valve(205), and a speaker(SPK). The oiler transmits/receives codes about a fuel type to/from an oil supply standby vehicle via a wireless communication unit. The switch is switched according to insertion of an oil supply gun of the oiler. The communication unit transmits the codes about the fuel type of the vehicle and codes requesting the fuel type of the oiler. The controller judges whether a fuel type of the vehicle is identical with that of the oiler, and performs supply of fuel only when the fuel type of the vehicle is identical with that of the oiler. An internal switch contact point of the relay is turned on/off according to a control signal from the controller. The oil valve blocks or opens the flow path of the fuel according to power supplied through the contact point. The speaker transmits an alarm sound when the fuel type of the vehicle is different from that of the oiler.
