Abstract: PURPOSE: A continuously variable valve timing system with a booster pump is provided to optimize valve timing under all engine condition by improving operability of the continuously variable valve timing system at shortage of hydraulic pressure in low-speed and high-temperature operation, and to supply pressure of oil to the continuously variable valve timing phase converter by mounting a booster pump and a solenoid valve in the cylinder head. CONSTITUTION: A booster pump is installed in an oil passage(120) of a cylinder head with cam motion to compensate pressure of oil in low-speed and high-temperature operation of the engine. A booster pump(10) as the booster pump comprises a cylinder(11), a piston(13) elastically installed in the lower part of a spring(12) to move up and down according to pressure of a cam(131), and a check valve(14) restricting counter flow of oil from the oil gallery. A solenoid valve(20) is operated by an ECU(140) to increase pressure of oil at shortage of oil through the booster pump.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is an automobile nonwoven fabric which involves excellent tensile strength, wear resistance and elastic elongation with reduced production cost, and is used in making automobile head linings. CONSTITUTION: An automobile nonwoven fabric is manufactured by making a nonwoven fabric with polypropylene fiber, coating an acryl binder onto the back surface of the nonwoven fabric, and laminating a polyamide film thereto by thermal bonding. The nonwoven fabric is made using polypropylene yarn with 2-4 denier. The solid content of the acryl binder is 40-50%, and the coating thickness thereof is 0.1-0.4mm.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A connecting rod for an offset crank shaft is provided to reduce the lateral force of a piston in an explosion stroke and in a compression stroke by using a connecting rod bent only for the compression stroke. CONSTITUTION: A connecting rod(1) consists of an upper body(2) and a lower body(3). Both side members(2) are connected by a pivot joint bent by a hinge shaft. In the expansion stroke of a piston(14), the connecting rod is kept in the straight stance. In the compression stroke of the piston, an inclined portion of the upper body ascends by being stuck to a support face of the lower body. If the connecting rod is bent in the compression stroke, the lateral force of the piston applied to an anti-thrust surface is reduced. Therefore, the offset of a crank shaft is increased.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A variable valve system of a vehicle engine and a control method thereof are provided to reduce the hydraulic pressure required for a valve timing control, while eliminating the restriction of variable valve timing range. CONSTITUTION: A variable valve system comprises a hydraulic pressure control unit(300) including an oil pump and a solenoid valve, which controls flow of hydraulic pressure by being synchronized with a hydraulic pressure control signal; a driving pulley(400) mounted to an exhaust gas cam shaft(410), which has a movable flange(430), a fixed flange(440) and a belt(450) which contact differently in accordance with the state of hydraulic pressure being supplied/exhausted to/from a hydraulic chamber(420); and a slave pulley(500) connected to the driving pulley through a belt and mounted to an intake cam shaft(510) so that the frequency of rotation changes in accordance with the change of contact among the movable flange, fixed flange and the belt.
