    Abstract: A control device for an LPI hybrid vehicle, and its control method are provided to prevent a battery from being exhausted by the operation of a motor when the LPG fuel is not supplied, thereby stopping the operation of a motor by an LPG switch in case of the unexpected accident. A control device for an LPI hybrid vehicle comprises an LPG switch sensor(110) which is electrically connected with an LPG switch(10) to sense the operation of the LPG switch and to convert it into an electric signal; a hybrid control unit(120) which is electrically connected with the LPG switch sensor to receive the electric signal and to produce the control signal; an engine control unit(150) which is electrically connected with the hybrid control unit to receive the control signal and to control the operation of an engine; and a motor control unit(170) which is electrically connected with the hybrid control unit to receive the control signal and to control the operation of a motor.
