CONSTITUTION: A multi-purpose vehicle pedal comprises a rod(46) protruded onto a booster and having a rack gear(46a), a counter gear(48) rotating in engagement with the rack gear, and a return spring(58) to return a pedal arm. A gear(42a) for rotating the counter gear is formed on the upper end of the pedal arm. Upon pressing a step prepared on the lower end of the pedal arm, the step rotates in the direction opposite to the gear via a hinge point formed in the middle of the pedal arm. Therefore, the hinge point of the pedal is lowered even without the movement of the booster.
