Abstract: PURPOSE: An electronic control structure and method for an auxiliary brake is provided to improve fuel efficiency and braking performance by controlling an auxiliary brake using a booster without an electronic control unit and generating hydraulic pressure by moving through a motor. CONSTITUTION: An electronic control structure for an auxiliary brake comprises a brake pedal (100), a motor driven booster (110), a pressure sensor (111), and an electronic control unit (ECU) (112). The brake pedal receives the pedal effort of a driver to deliver to the motor driven booster. The motor driven booster is linked with the brake pedal. The motor driven booster generates hydraulic pressure in a master cylinder through the control of a motor to generate braking power. The pressure sensor is linked with the brake pedal and to the motor driven booster to grasp required for braking pressure and sudden braking situations. The ECU is equipped inside the motor driven booster. The ECU is linked with the pressure sensor to determine the entry and release of an auxiliary brake and control the motor driven booster.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An active type brake system and a control method thereof, capable of supplying stable brake performance by compensating wheel pressure when a fade generation condition is detected while braking control is performed due to operation of a brake pedal of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Vehicle information including a pedal effort of a brake pedal, each vehicle wheel speed, a vehicle deceleration speed, and temperature of the brake pedal is detected. A brake control value according to the pedal effort of the brake pedal is extracted by applying a map which was set, and the brake control is performed. Whether the temperature of the brake pedal rises as fade generation temperature set as map is determined. When the temperature of the brake pedal rises as the fade generation temperature, a correct control value according to fade generation is determined. The brake control is performed by applying the correct control value which is determined with the fade generation to the brake control value.
