    Abstract: PURPOSE: An exhaust system for sudden acceleration is provided to reduce exhaust resistance applied to an engine in sudden acceleration by discharging exhaust gas via a main muffler and an auxiliary muffler and to make the engine output high torque in a short time. CONSTITUTION: Exhaust gas is discharged via an exhaust pipe(3) discharged from an engine(1), and a muffler(6) is formed in the end of the exhaust pipe. An auxiliary pipe(7) is branched from the exhaust pipe placed in front of the muffler, and an auxiliary muffler(8) is installed on the auxiliary pipe. An opening and shutting valve(9) is installed in an inlet of the auxiliary pipe to open and close the auxiliary pipe. A valve driving unit(10) dispersively discharges exhaust gas through the muffler and the auxiliary muffler. A vacuum pump(11) is connected to the valve driving unit via a vacuum pipe(12). A solenoid valve(13) selectively opening and closing the vacuum pipe operates the valve driving unit with vacuum pressure of the vacuum pump. An ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(14) opens the opening and shut-off valve by opening the solenoid valve when sudden acceleration is decided. By dispersively discharging exhaust gas to the muffler and the auxiliary muffler, discharge amount of exhaust pipe increases. Therefore, exhaust resistance is not applied to the engine and prompt increase of engine output is possible.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An RPM increasing device compensates the RPM dropped by transmission driving torque. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises an accelerator position sensor(12), an injection pump(20), an actuator(30), a vacuum pump(41), a solenoid valve(44) and a transmission control unit(TCU, 42). The accelerator position sensor(12) is installed to an accelerator pedal(11) to convert the treadled amount of the accelerator pedal(11) to voltage. The injection pump(20) has a control lever(21) controlled by the accelerator pedal(11). The actuator(30) is installed on one side of the injection pump(20) to operate the control lever(21). The vacuum pump(41) is connected with the actuator(30) to generate vacuum. The solenoid valve(44) is installed on a connecting pipe connecting the vacuum pump(41) and the actuator(30) to open and close the connecting pipe. The TCU(42) is connected with the solenoid valve(44) to control the solenoid valve(44) and installed to receive signal from the accelerator position sensor(12) and controls an automatic transmission(43).
