Abstract: An indicator for a vehicle is provided to clearly distinguish a character or symbol by irradiating light emitted from a light emitting diode through a portion formed on a film layer. An indicator includes a light emitting diode coupled to a cover(200) under a lens(100). Plural film layers(110) are laminated on an upper surface of the lens. At least one layer of the film layers laminated on the upper surface of the lens is eliminated in a character or symbol, and light emitted from the light emitting diode passes through the eliminated portion. The film layer has a light transmitting layer applied on the lens and a light non-transmitting film layer(112) corresponding to the light transmitting film layer.
