    Abstract: PURPOSE: A hinge apparatus of a car trunk lid is provided to improve the pop-up performance at low temperature without increasing the pressure of a gas lifter because a hinge pin that fastens the gas lifter and a hinge arm is variably slid in a hinge hole. CONSTITUTION: A hinge apparatus of a car trunk lid comprises a hinge arm(11) and a hinge hole(20). The hinge arm is hinged on a vehicle body via a hinge shaft(13) and supports a trunk lid to be opened and closed. The hinge hole is formed in the hinge arm so that the hinge arm is coupled with a gas lifter(16) by a hinge pin(19). The hinge hole is formed lengthwise in the tangential direction of the circumference of the hinge pin which rotates around the hinge shaft. The hinge pin is slid along the hinge hole and the moment of the hinge pin increases when unlocking the trunk lid.

A curved part including the curve frame is designed with the offset curve(ST30). The central point of the offset curve is moved into the rear part of an inner panel 60mm(ST40), and the 80 mm offset curve is designed(ST50). Two intersection points of both outlines are obtained, and a line passing two intersections is designed(ST60,ST70). A rectilinear part having a straight frame is designed(ST80), and the main trunk lid frame structure is finished(ST90). Endurance of the inner panel is improved against load during traveling.
