    Abstract: PURPOSE: A hydraulic engine mount is provided to restrain rapid increasing of stiffness, and to improve vibration absorbing performance by sufficiently absorbing the resonance of a separator even at a specific band of high frequency. CONSTITUTION: An upper and a lower fluid chambers(12,14) are separated embedded in a hydraulic engine mount(10). A first separator(22) is connected to the upper and lower fluid chambers to absorb the displacement inputted at a high frequency band. The first separator is a leaf spring. An inertia path(16) is communicated to the upper and lower fluid chambers to absorb the displacement inputted at a low frequency band. A damping rubber(30) is interposed to the upper portion of the body. A rubber diaphragm(32) is attached to the lower end of the body. A plunger(40) to transmit vibration to the fluid in the fluid chambers is combined to the center of the damping rubber. The plunger has a plunger fluid chamber(42). A second separator(24) is combined to the plunger fluid chamber. Since the displacement of high frequency is applied to the separators, vibration absorbing capacity is doubled.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A vibration absorbing apparatus of a shock absorber for a vehicle is provided to absorb vibration through the shock absorber by moving the weight in the opposite to vibration of a cylinder with forming magnetic force against vibration between a permanent magnet and an electromagnet. CONSTITUTION: A weight(102) is elastically supported by coil springs(103,106), and installed in a cylinder(10) by a linear bearing(101). A permanent magnet(108) is mounted in a groove(102a) formed in the lower part of the weight. An electromagnet(107) is installed in the end of a supporter rod(105a) of a supporter(105) fixed in the lower part of the cylinder, and placed opposite to the permanent magnet. The electromagnet is connected to a battery through a varistor(111) and a polar converting switch(112), and an acceleration sensor(109) is installed in the supporter. A control unit(110) receives vibration information from the acceleration sensor, and controls the varistor and the polar converting switch. Vibration is absorbed by moving the weight against vibration of the cylinder with forming magnetic force between the permanent magnet and the electromagnet.
