    Abstract: PURPOSE: A silent oil control valve structure is provided to minimize clash sound at the clash between a moving rod and a stopper by maximizing the repulsive force of a permanent magnet. CONSTITUTION: A first permanent magnet(102) is inserted in a moving rod(100) to operate the maximum repulsive force when a piston(21) is clashed with a stopper(22). The moving rod is forcibly inserted in the tip of a piston(21). A second permanent magnet(104) having the same polarity as the first permanent magnet is inserted inside the stopper near an OCV(Oil Control Valve) housing(20-1) to operate the maximum repulsive force when the moving rod is clashed with the stopper. Thereby, clash sound is minimized and the resonance of a spring is reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An oil control valve is provided to prevent the oil control valve from broken due to a resonance phenomenon generated between a spool and a return spring by installing a damping device at a sidewall of the oil control valve. CONSTITUTION: An oil control valve(10) includes a housing(12). A spool(14) is inserted into the housing(12). A magnet(16) is disposed between the spool(14) and the housing(12) in order to move the spool(14) by applying electromagnetic force to the spool(14). A return spring(18) is provided to return the spool(14) to its initial position. Many ports(20) are formed in the housing(12). Many slots are formed in the spool(14) so as to change a flow route of oil supplied from the ports(20). A damping device is installed at a sidewall(22) of the oil control valve(10). The damping device includes a flexible spacer formed at the sidewall of the control valve(10) and a stopper closely adjacent to the flexible spacer.
