    Abstract: A fiber optic termination module comprising a housing (632) having first and second spaced apart ends (710, 712), and first and second spaced apart sides (714,716) extending between the ends. The housing includes a rear (718) extending between the first and second ends and the first and second sides to define an interior, defining an open front (720) bounded by the first and second ends and the first and second sides. The first and second ends (710, 712) extend generally horizontally when the termination module (632) is mounted to a telecommunications rack (1320), the first and second sides (714, 716) extending generally vertically when the termination module (632) is mounted to the telecommunications rack (1320), and the housing includes a cable access opening (715) for accessing the interior through one of the sides. A main panel (724) is mounted to the open front (720), and includes an array of openings arranged and sized for holding adapters (134), the adapters being sized for mounting to cable connectors. The main panel (724) is positioned at a nonperpendicular angle relative to the rear (718), the sides (714, 716) being positioned at a generally perpendicular angle relative to the rear (718).

    Abstract: Una armazòn para distribución de cables de fibra, que comprende: a) un soporte que se extiende verticalmente desde un fondo hasta una tapa, dicho soporte definiendo un flanco izquierdo, un flanco derecho, un frente y un plano trasero; b) un elemento guía cable izquierdo vertical con un flanco de acceso, dicho guía cable estando colocado a la izquierda del soporte, y un guía cable derecho vertical con un flanco de acceso, dicho guía cable colocado a la derecha del soporte, c) una zona o área superior como terminal de cableado, colocada en el soporte, incluyendo: 1) un primer panel que define una fila o disposición de puntos terminales en una porción frontal y posterior de dicho panel, dicho primer panel colocado en el lado izquierdo del soporte adyacente al guía cable izquierdo vertical, dicho primer panel montado pivotalmente sobre un eje vertical, y cada fila o disposición incluyendo una serie de pisos y columnas de puntos terminales. 2) un segundo panel que define una fila o disposición de puntos terminales en una porción frontal y posterior de dicho panel, dicho segundo panel colocado en el lado derecho del soporte adyacente al guía cable derecho vertical, dicho segundo panel montado pivotalmente sobre un segundo eje vertical, y cada fila o disposición incluyendo una serie de pisos y columnas de puntos terminales; 2 -d) un área de empalme de cables inferior colocada en el soporte, dicha área inferior de empalmes definiendo una serie de discos o bandejas de empalme; e) un pasaje para cableado desde las bandejas de sostén hasta las porciones posteriores del primer y segundo panel; f) un pasaje horizontal colocado en el soporte que va entre el guía cable vertical derecho y el guía cable vertical izquierdo. 1 Un módulo terminal de fibra óptica que comprende: una carcaza o cubierta que tiene primer y segundo extremos apartados, dicha carcaza con un primer y segundos flancos entre dichos extremos, con un plano posterior que se extiende entre los extremos y dichos flancos para definir un interior, dicha carcaza definiendo una abertura frontal limitada por el primero y segundo extremo y el primer y segundo flanco, dichos extremos primero y segundo extendiéndose en plano vertical cuando el módulo terminal es instalado en el soporte de telecomunicaciones; un panel principal instalado pivotalmente en el segundo flanco, dicho panel incluyendo una fila de perforaciones dispuestas y calibradas para sostener adaptadores los cuales a su vez se calibran para instalar conectores de cables; Una guía cable ubicada al interior de la carcaza para conducir el cableado que entra a la carcaza por uno de los accesos o aberturas por entre el primer y segundo extremo hacia las aberturas en el panel principal.
