Abstract:
The invention relates to a structure (1) comprising: a fibrous layer (2a, 2b); a substructure (3) having a translucent region; a watermark or pseudo-watermark (8a, 8b) carried by the fibrous layer and at least partially superposing the translucent region of the substructure, in such a way that the watermark or pseudo-watermark is observable in transmitted light through the structure, in the translucent region of the substructure, only from that face of the structure which is adjacent to the fibrous layer; and an integrated microcircuit device (4, 10) for communication with and/or without a contact.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a multilayer structure such as a booklet cover paper, in particular for a passport. It comprises a radio frequency identification device (31, 32) having a chip (31), the latter being housed in the thickness of the multilayer structure without creating excess thickness, the materials constituting the various layers of the multilayer structure being selected, as well as the thickness of said layers, such that the cover (20) is resistant to mechanical and thermal impacts, in particular so that it can be subjected to a graining and/or jacketing process by deposition of a heat-transfer film under pressure and/or by lamination when security films are deposited thereon.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a structure (1) for the production of a security or value document, comprising: an electronic device (8), an intermediate layer (2), of at least partially fibrous embodiment with a window (4), into which the electronic device (8) at least partly extends and an adhesive layer (6) in contact with the intermediate layer.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a security document which is especially useful for guarding against falsification and counterfeit of payment vouchers or official documents by reproduction. Said security document is characterised in that it has a securement pattern (M) as a security means, said securement pattern consisting of a first pattern (M1) formed from substances having an interfering effect, and a second pattern (M2) formed from substances which react to certain forms of stimulation - such as luminous radiation or calorific, magnetic, electromagnetic, electric or microwave-type forms of stimulation - by a luminous response which is visible to the naked eye or by a specific signal that can be detected by means of an adapted appliance. The invention also relates to a method for producing said document.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a document (1) comprising an integrated microcircuit device (2), in particular an RFID device, the document (1) comprising at least one detector (3) configured so as to detect a change of at least one physicochemical quantity, this detection possibly being performed away from the reading field of an external reader capable of obtaining from the integrated microcircuit device (2) at least one item of information relating to said change, the integrated microcircuit device (2) being configured so as to signal to the external reader, during a communication with the latter, an attempt to attack the physical integrity of the document (1) following the detection of a corresponding change of said at least one physicochemical quantity.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a sheet having a front side and a reverse side and at least one watermark or pseudo-watermark, and such that said watermark or pseudo-watermark is observable in transmitted light, at least partly, only on one side of said sheet.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of reading at least one bar code (20) carried by a substrate (21), the method comprising the following steps: a) generating, especially in an automatic manner, when presenting the bar code to a system for reading the bar code, at least one authentication cue related to an intrinsic physical characteristic of the substrate and independent of the data contained in the bar code, and b) allowing the reading of the bar code (20), only in the event of a positive authentication of the substrate or reading the bar code regardless of the result of the authentication of the substrate and in the event of negative authentication of the substrate, preventing access to just one part of the data contained in the bar code and/or to any data that may be associated with the bar code, and which is stored on a separate data medium from the substrate.
