    Abstract: O.Z. 0050/42969 Thiochromenone derivatives as antidotes, and herbicides containg them Herbicidal agents containing at least one thiochromenone of the formula I where n is 1, 2, 3 or 4, and the radicals R3 may have different meanings when n is > 1; R1 is hydrogen; cyano; halogen; substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl or hetaryl; a group -XR4 or a group -COYR4, where X is oxygen, sulfur and NR5, Y is oxygen and NR5, R4 is one of the following groups: hydrogen; formyl; alkyl; cycloalkyl; alkylcarbonyl; cycloalkylcarbonyl; alkylsulfonyl; cycloalkylsulfonyl; substituted or unsubstituted aryl, hetaryl, arylcarbonyl, hetarylcarbonyl, arylsulfonyl or hetarylsulfonyl; and R5 is hydrogen or substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl or hetaryl; O.Z. 0050/42969 R2 is hydrogen; cyano; nitroso; nitro; halogen; substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, aryl or hetaryl; a group -NR4R5 or a group -COYR4, where Y, R4 and R5 have the above meanings; R3 is hydrogen; cyano; halogen; substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl or hetaryl; a group -YR4, a group -COYR4, a group -COR6 or a group -SO2R7, where Y and R4 have the above meanings; R6 is one of the following groups: hydrogen; alkyl; cycloalkyl; substituted or unsubstituted aryl or hetaryl; and R7 is hydrogen; alkyl; cycloalkyl; substituted or unsubsti tuted aryl or hetaryl; or a group -NR4R5, where R4 and R5 have the above meanings, and the plant-tolerated salts of those compounds I in which one or several of the substituents denote an acidic or basic group, and at least one herbicidal active ingredient.
