    Abstract: Preparation of guanidine derivatives comprises reacting calcium cyanamide with an alcohol to form an isourea derivative and reacting the isourea derivative with an amine.     Abstract: The invention concerns a method for producing phthalides of general formula (I) in which phthalic acid anhydrides of general formula (II) are transformed on hydrogenation catalyzers at temperatures from 50 to 400 DEG C and pressures from 1 to 400 bar in such a way that the transformation is carried out in the liquid phase using phthalides of general formula (I) as solvent. In said formulae (I) and (II) R , R , R and R independently mean hydrogen, C1-4-alkyl or C1-4-alkoxy.
