The invention concerns thermoplastic moulding materials which are different from ABS and which, in relation to the sum of the quantities of components A, B, C and D resulting in a total of 100 wt %, contain (a) 1 to 58 wt %, preferably 1 to 29 wt %, in particular 2 to 18 wt % of a particulate emulsion polymer with a glass transition temperature of less than 0 DEG C and a mean particle size of 50-1000 nm, preferably 50-500 nm as component A, (b) 1 to 58 wt %, preferably 1 to 29 wt %, in particular 2 to 18 wt % of at least one amorphous or semi-crystalline polymer as component B, (c) 40 to 97 wt %, preferably 70 to 94 wt % polycarbonate as component C, (d) 1 to 30 wt %, preferably 4 to 20 wt %, in particular 7 to 15 wt % of at least one phosphoric acid ester of monovalent or multivalent phenols as component D, (e) 0 to 5 wt %, preferably 0.1 to 3 wt %, in particular 0.2 to 1 wt % of at least one fluoropolymer as component E, (f) 0 to 50 wt % fibre or particulate filling materials or their mixtures as component F. Said materials are used for producing interior furnishings for rail vehicles.

The invention concerns the use of thermoplastic moulding materials which are different from ABS and which, in relation to the sum of the quantities of components A and B and optionally C and/or D resulting in a total of 100 wt %, contain a) 1-99 % wt %, preferably 15-60 wt %, in particular 25-50 wt % of a particulate emulsion polymer with a glass transition temperature of less than 0 °C and a mean particle size of 50-1000 nm, preferably 50-500 nm as composent A, b) 1-99 wt %, preferably 40-85 wt %, in particular 50-75 wt % of at least one amorphous or semi-crystalline polymer as component B, c) 0-50 wt % polycarbonates as component C and d) 0-50 wt % of fibre or particle-shaped filling materials or their mixtures as component D, for producing thin wall panels and retaining parts therefor.

A process for the production of a polyacetylene film which is from 2 to 20,000 .mu.m thick by polymerization of acetylene with an Ziegler catalyst on a solid substrate, wherein a Ziegler catalyst-containing solution with a viscosity of from 5 to 50,000 mPa.s, preferably from 50 to 10,000 mPa.s, measured at 20.degree.C, is employed and the polymerization temperature is from -15 to +150.degree.C, especially from +15 to +50.degree.C. The viscosity can be adjusted by means of a polysiloxane, a polymeric aluminum or a polymeric titanate.
