Abstract: Alkylene glycol based antifreeze concentrate contains 0.05-10 wt.% of a mixture of at least two different 3-16C dicarboxylic acids in the form of their alkali metal, ammonium- or substituted ammonium salts, 0.01-5 wt.% of an alkali metal, ammonium or substituted ammonium molybdate and 0.01-3 wt.% of a mixture of at least two different corrosion inhibitors comprising triazoles and thiazoles. An antifreeze concentrate (I), based on alkylene glycol or its derivatives, contains (A) 0.05-10 wt.% (w.r.t. concentrate (I)) of a mixture of at least two different 3-16C dicarboxylic acids in the form of their alkali metal, ammonium- or substituted ammonium salts, (B) 0.01-5 wt.% (w.r.t. (I)) of an alkali metal, ammonium or substituted ammonium molybdate and (C) 0.01-3 wt.% (w.r.t. (I)) of a mixture of at least two different corrosion inhibitors comprising triazoles and thiazoles. An Independent claim is also included for a cooling agent composition having a reduced freezing point, comprising water and 10-90 wt.% of the concentrate (I).
