Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing polyurethane-coated line elements and the use thereof preferably in maritime environments. In said method, (a) a mixture of aromatic and aliphatic polyisocyanate is mixed with (b) at least one polymer compound having at least two isocyanate-reactive hydrogen atoms, (c) chain extending agents having a functionality of 2 to 4 and a hydroxyl number of 500 to 2500 mg KOH/g, (d) catalyst, and (e) optionally, other auxiliary agents and/or additives, to obtain a reaction mixture, and the reaction mixture is directly or indirectly applied to a suitable substrate and is allowed to finish reacting to obtain a polyurethane layer, the chain extender characteristic KV of isocyanates (a) and of all isocyanate-reactive compounds of components (b) to (e) according to formula (1) being 1 to 100, where M(aromat. Isocyanat) is the weight ratio (in wt%) of the aromatic isocyanate in relation to the sum of the total weight of the isocyanate used and isocyanate-reactive compounds of components (b) to (e), NCO(aromat.Isocyanat) is the NCO content (in wt%) of the aromatic isocyanate, and M(Kettenverlängerer) is the weight ratio (in wt%) of the chain extender in relation to the sum of the total weight of the isocyanate used and the isocyanate-reactive compounds in components (b) to (e). The invention further relates to line elements obtainable according to a method of this kind.
