    Abstract: Processes comprising: providing a reactive distillation column having an upper region, a middle region and a lower region; feeding ethylene glycol and an aqueous formaldehyde solution into the reactive distillation column in the middle region of the reactive distillation column; reacting the ethylene glycol and the aqueous formaldehyde solution in the reactive distillation column in the presence of a catalyst to form dioxolane; removing a product stream comprising dioxolane in an amount of at least 75% by weight from the upper region of the reactive distillation column; and removing a bottom stream comprising one or more components having boiling points higher than dioxolane from the lower region of the reactive distillation column.

    Abstract: Preparation of trioxane and at least a comonomer for the preparation of (co)polymer on trioxane basis, comprises (a) converting formaldehyde and at least a co-monomer educt to trioxane and co-monomer in an aqueous solution to obtain a reaction mixture; (b) distilling the reaction mixture in a first distillation step at a first pressure to obtain stream (B1) and a stream (B2); and (c) distilling the stream (B1) in a second distillation step to obtain stream (C1) containing trioxane, co-monomer and water, and a product stream (C2) containing co-monomer and trioxane. Preparation of trioxane and at least a co-monomer for the preparation of (co)polymer on trioxane basis, comprises: (a) converting formaldehyde and at least a co-monomer educt to trioxane and co-monomer in an aqueous solution to obtain a reaction mixture containing trioxane, co-monomer, formaldehyde, water and optionally co-monomer educt, by synthesis step; (b) distilling the reaction mixture in a first distillation step at a first pressure to obtain stream (B1) enriched with trioxane and comonomer, and a stream (B2) containing water, formaldehyde and optionally comonomer-educt; and (c) distilling the stream (B1) in a second distillation step at a pressure above the pressure of the first distillation step to obtain stream (C1) containing trioxane, co-monomer and water, and a product stream (C2) containing co-monomer and trioxane.

    Abstract: Procedimiento para producir poliamidas, el cual comprende una post-polimerización en fase sólida de un prepolímero de poliamida, donde el prepolímero de poliamida antes y/o durante la post-polimerización en fase sólida se pone en contacto con una composición acuosa que comprende al menos los siguientes componentes: A) al menos un primer compuesto seleccionado del grupo compuesto por ácido fosfórico, sales totalmente neutralizadas del ácido fosfórico, sales parcialmente neutralizadas del ácido fosfórico y mezclas de los mismos, y B) al menos un segundo compuesto distinto de A), donde el componente B) comprende ácido succínico o anhídrido succínico, o se compone de ácido succínico o anhídrido succínico, y donde la puesta en contacto del prepolímero de poliamida con la composición acuosa tiene lugar a una temperatura y a una presión, en las cuales la composición acuosa es líquida, donde la relación molar del componente B, con respecto a los grupos reactivos del prepolímero, es de 1:50 a 1:5.
