According to the invention, the bag for parenteral fluid administration consists of two strips (10 and 12) which, by some welded sealings (22, 24, 26 and 28) define a tank (20) that communicates, through an orifice (41), with a connecting element (40), initially having the shape of a compact coil, the exterior end (78) of the connecting element (40) being releasable and unwound in an elongated position, by means of a sealing (50).

Abstract: In the present invention there is disclosed a bag for communicating fluids with a patient comprising a fluid reservoir (20), a line set (40) formed unitary with said fluid reservoir (20) chamber and a bag web (60) having a peelably releasable line set (40) co-formed with said web (60) and a line set (40) aperture defined by said web (60) and a tear seal (50) between said web (60) and said line set (40), wherein said aperture is opened by said line (40) set being extended from said web (60) by parting said tear seal (50) from said web (60). In an alternate embodiment, a plurality of bags (200, 222) connected with each other by an integrally formed wye-junction (216) are adapted for delivery to a patient and retrieval of fluid from a patient.
