Abstract: A displacement pickup for detecting positions of an adjusting device, in particular an adjusting device of fuel injection pumps. In an advantageous manner, an adjustment of the displacement pickup can be performed with the aid of a cylindrical tang, which is displaceable and fixable in a through bore in the wall of a housing receiving the adjusting device and through the interior of which an adjusting device of the displacement pickup can be adjusted from outside the housing. In a displacement pickup advantageously embodied as a rotary potentiometer, a contact means of a resistor (Ra) of the resistance course of the potentiometer can thus be adjusted.

Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines having a plurality of pump elements 2, 3 disposed in a line, the injection quantity control of which is effected via a control slide 9 that is axially displaceable on the pump piston 9 and by controlling a relief conduit 22-25 of the pump work chamber 18, the control slides 9 being surrounded by partial suction chambers 8 that discharge into a main suction chamber 10 receiving a torque shaft 12 for axially actuating the control slides 9. These partial suction chambers 8 each have a separate partial inflow conduit 39 of defined length and cross section, which communicates with an inflow conduit 33, so that the same volumetric flow is metered to each partial suction chamber in the manner of quantity division, while the main suction chamber 10 is retained and the torque shaft 12 is disposed in it.

Abstract: The stabilizer has a piston 13 slidingly guided in a housing bore 11 and which bounds at its ends pressure chambers 20, 21 which are connected to one another by a duct 22 including a throttle 23. The piston is resiliently connected to a linkage 15, 17 of the regulator, for example an injection pump. In the piston, two parallel extending bores (26, 27) are formed passing through the piston and in which are arranged pressure limiting valves (33, 42) opening and closing in opposite directions. In this way, a stabilizer is provided which has a short regulating time on the occurrence of large sudden changes in load.

The electrical plug and socket connection has a first plug part (3), which is directed in a pressure-tight manner out of a housing (1) of the governor and in which plugs (11) are disposed, likewise in a pressure-tight manner. A second plug part (16) having plug sockets (29) for receiving the insertion sections (12) of the plugs (11), which sockets (29) are disposed in a sealed manner with respect to splashing water and soiling, has means (22, 34, 39, 40) for the sealed and strain-relieved reception of a cable (33), the stranded conductors (32) of which are secured on the plug sockets (29). The second plug part (16) is held on the first plug part (3) so firmly, in the inserted state, by a covering connection nut (42) that no relative movement is possible between the plug parts (3, 16) and thus between the plugs (11, 12) and the plug sockets (29).
