Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extruding a rubber material for tires by which the fluidity of a rubber material is increased by warming at high efficiency and thereby the discharge performance of a head is enhanced, and an extrusion device. SOLUTION: This method for extruding a rubber material for tires comprises the steps to measure the temperatures of the rubber material flowing through each of the interiors of a screw extruder body, a gear pump and a head with a die block when a fixed displacement extruder is operated, control/keep the rubber material flowing through the three components at specified temperatures based on the measurement results and at the same time, extrude the rubber material from the die block. Also the extrusion device is of such a construction that the fixed displacement extruder comprises the screw extruder body, the gear pump and the head with a die block, each of which internally has a temperature detection sensor and a temperature control means.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a tire capable of improving lateral rigidity of the tire and improving a steering stabilizing performance by holding high productivity in a simple work and the tire. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the tire comprises the steps of forming an annular laminate by spirally winding and laminating a ribbon of a thin gage of an unvulcanized rubber containing short fibers at a position corresponding to a side face region from a bead to a sidewall between an enclosure rubber and an inner liner rubber of the tire to mold the unvulcanized tire, and forming the annular laminate as a reinforcing layer. The tire is obtained by vulcanizing the unvulcanized tire molded by using the manufacturing method.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and conveniently form a short fiber reinforcing layer in which a short fiber material is orientated as originally expected. SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a tire equipped with a short fiber reinforcing layer where the short fiber material 6 is orientated in a specified direction. When a green tire is molded, a rubber ribbon 5 containing the short fiber material 6 orientated in its own extension direction, is arranged by winding the rubber ribbon 5 around a belt 4 formed on a BT drum 3. The orientation direction of the short fiber material 6 inside the short fiber reinforcing layer is decided by selecting the rotary peripheral speed of the belt 4 on the BT drum 3 and the moving speed of the rubber ribbon 5, in the axial direction, of the BT drum 3.

In this case, the supply volume per a unit time of the rubber strip material (g3 ) to the cap (3c) is made constant and the respective rubber materials (g1 and g2 ) contained in the rubber strip material (g3 ) supplied per the unit time is made alterable within a range of 0-100 vol.%.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give rubber physical properties as desired to a product tire and sufficiently further sufficiently prevent occurrence of a scorch by arranging a heating means of a strip-like rubber member between a supply means and a mold of the member. SOLUTION: A heating roll such as, for example, a hot roll 4 is arranged at a position adjacent to a constant volume extruder 1. The roll 4 is set rotatable at substantially the same circumferential speed as a supplying speed of a strip-like rubber member 3 and a heating temperature of the roll 4 itself is make controllable by a controller 5. A plastic or rigid core 6 having an outer profile shape corresponding to an inner surface shape of a product tire of a mold is arranged at the position adjacent to the roll 4. The heating means is constituted by at least one or both of infrared radiation unit disposed oppositely to the roll 4 and the member 3. In the case of using the infrared radiation unit, the unit is constituted approachably to or separably from the member 3.
