Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in tenacity of a cord consisting of ultrahigh- tenacity 6-nylon for reinforcing rubber after vulcanization by subjecting the above-mentioned cord to dipping treatment in a resorcin-formaldehyde/latex(RFL) treating solution containing a specific latex. CONSTITUTION:A cord consisting of 6-nylon or 6,6-nylon having >=11.5g/d raw yarn strength for reinforcing rubber is subjected to dipping treatment in an RFL. In the process, a treating solution containing (A) a vinylpyridine-butadiene- styrene terpolymer latex and (B) a polyisoprene-based latex at >=0.3, preferably >=0.4 solid weight ratio of the components B/A+B and the solid weight ratio of the component (A) to the total weight of the RFL dipping solution within the range of 0.03-0.2 is used as the latex component to prevent the tenacity of the vulcanized cord from deteriorating.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve eccentric wear resistance and cut resistance and the like of the title tyre by crossing plural rubberized layers consisting of a cord made of specific material, having specific strength and initial modulus respectively at a specific cord angle, to the equatorial surface of the tyre so as to form a belt layer. CONSTITUTION:A tyre is provided with a carcass 1 with toroidal radial construction consisting of mutually parallel plural ply of organic fibre cord. A tread 3 is reinforced by belts 2 for surrounding the crown of the carcass 1. In this case, the belts 2 are formed by crossing the specific plural rubberized layers with each other a specific angle. In other words, each rubberized layer uses so-called 66 nylon polymer and is formed with a cord having the characteristic in which strength is 9.0g/d or more the status of a dipped cord treated by a binding agent after thread plying and initial modulus is less than 80g/d. The cord angle of each rubberized layer to the equatorial surface of the tyre is set within a range from 10 deg. to 70 deg..

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent reduction in strength and obtain good adhesion between a cord and rubber by using a specific aromatic polyamide fiber, specifying the total denier number and the number of final twist to form a cord, and embedding said cord into a specific cord to form a carcass ply. CONSTITUTION:A toroidal carcass ply has a folded part in which only one sheet of cord layer is wound back from the inside to the outside of a tire around a bead core. The sheet of cord layer is formed by embedding, into rubber aromatic polyamide fibers which are providing mutually in parallel and nearly perpendicular to the circumferential direction of the tire. In such a structure, the cord layer is formed by using an aromatic polyamide fiber having 40mol% or above of repeated units represented by the formula I in a molecule, with the total denier number D being D>25,000 while the number of twist being two or three. And, adhesive treated cords are embedded, while being arranged in parallel, in rubber having a modulus of 100% of 40-60kg/cm .

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the run-flat traveling performance by using a cord of poly-olefin-ketone fiber substantially consisting of repetitive units for at least one of radial carcass ply layers from one side wall to the other side wall through a crown part. SOLUTION: A bead portion of a pneumatic safety tire 10 is fitted to a flange of a rim 30, a tread portion 24 is brought into contact with the ground with a shoulder 26 of the tread portion as an end portion, side walls 16 are continuously arranged inwardly in the radial direction from both ends of a cylindrical crown portion, and a portion from one of the side walls to the other one comprises two radial carcass ply layers 18. The cord forming at least one of them contains the poly-olefin ketone(POK) fiber. This fiber is high in strength and elasticity, and excellent in dimensional stability, small in thermal shrinkage, good in water resistant stability, excellent in adhesivity to rubber, excellent in amine degradation resistance, and excellent in run-flat traveling property.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To aim at a drastic weight lightening of a tire bead and improve low fuel consumption by using a complex cord, which is a combination of a fiber made from a heterocycle contained aromatic polymer containing a specific fiber strength and a polyamide resin through a specific mode, as a bead wire. CONSTITUTION:A complex cord of a fiber made from a hetrocycle contained aromatic polymer of a fiber strength of 18g/D or more and a polyamide resin is used as a bead wire for a radial tire. This complex cord is formed by completely coating a PBO fiber, which is the core material, with a polyamide resin and the volumetric ratio of the fiber in one bead wire is set within the range of 30% to 70%. The above mentioned resin coated wire is further formed so that it can be held by leaving a space between them with an insulation rubber which rubber hardness is 82 to the like are used as a fiber made from a heterocycle contained aromatic polymer.

CONSTITUTION:In a tyre having a belt reinforcement layer consisting of two layers or more with an organic fiber cord disposed at an angle of 0-40 deg., the specific gravity of a cord taken out from at least one layer or one belt reinforcement layer is set to 2.0 or less and the tensile elastic modulus E is set to 1000kg/mm or higher. Moreover, the vicinity of a crown center at the time of no internal pressure is made inwardly convex. The relation 0 ) is the tensile elastic modulus of the cord in the belt reinforcement layer which is taken out of the tyre.
