Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the folding back quality of a folding back part by folding back both axial ends of a tire constitutional member around bead by cylinders, bladders and a molding drum. CONSTITUTION:A bead in which a pair of cylinders 49 are reduced in diameter to the smallest diameter and held thereon is set on a tire constitutional member wound around a molding drum 1, and the cylinders 49 are increased in diameter to the medium diameter, and the bladders 71 of the molding drum 1 are expanded so as to hold both the axial ends of the tire constitutional member. In the next place, both cylinders 49 are moved to approximately radial outside of the bead, and both the axial ends of the tire constitutional member are raised while being brought into press cont act with the bead, and then both the cylinders 49 are expanded to the largest diameter, following this, they are moved, and both the axial ends of the tire constitutional member are folded back around the bead by these cylinders 49, bladders 71 and the molding drum 1. Thus, even in the case where the tire constitutional member is short in the folding back length, there can be improved the folding back quality of the folding back part.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of mounting and detachment works and to achieve a high centering degree, by constituting the titled mechanism of a central shaft inserted in a hollow main shaft and capable of relatively rotating with respect to the main shaft, the screw part provided on either the main shaft and a central shaft, and the screw part provided on a molding drum. CONSTITUTION:A ratchet 47 is separated from ratchet teeth 46 to enable the relative rotation of a central shaft 11, a main shaft 5 and a molding drum 31. Next, the molding drum 31 is supported and an air motor 22 is operated to transmit the rotational driving force thereof to the central shaft 11 through a clutch 21. By this operation, the mutual threading of screw parts 15, 36 is loosened and the molding drum 31 is pushed away from the main shaft 5 to release the clamping of both of them. A new molding drum is connected to the main shaft 5 by performing not only the centering of the drum shaft 32 and the main shaft 5 by inserting a guide body 9 in a guide hole 34 but also the insertion of a connection pin 37 in a pin hole 38. Next, when the central shaft 11 is rotated, the screw part 36 is threaded with the screw part 15.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To alleviate an operating load of an operator by providing a positioning mechanism for rotating a base body for placing a green tire to register a cutout part formed on the body to an advancing position of an end of a green tire hanger. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of outputs 20 which are passed in a thickness direction are provided on a base body 8 at an equal pitch. The cutout 20 is registered to ends 15a of a green tire hanger 15, an end 15a of which is advanced through a green tire T on the body 8, thereby automatically delivering the tire T to the hanger 15. Thus, a positioning mechanism 30 is provided, the cutout 20 is registered to the advancing position of the hanger 15 by the mechanism. In this manner, an operating load of an operator can be alleviated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a constitution simple and miniature and also to enhance working efficiency by providing a contact bonding device which contact-bonds the joining part of a bandlike member lengthened along the axial line of a molding drum to a bead setter and contact-bonding the joining part of the bandlike member at a time for supplying a bead. CONSTITUTION:A molding drum 4 is rotated by a driving part 1. Two sheets of bandlike member 6 are supplied to the molding drum 4 and stuck to the circumference thereof. A joining part 7 wherein the bandlike members 6 are overlapped is provided in two spots on the circumference. Then beads B are supplied to the bead holding parts 14 of a bead setter 12 respectively and held. Moreover the molding drum 4 is rotated until the joining parts 7 reach the upper end and the lower end of the molding drum 4. Then the bead setter 12 is progressed along the axial line of the molding drum 4. At this time, the contact bonding rollers 31 of the respective contact bonding devices 21 are brought into contact with the heater block 43 of a heating means 47 and heated at the prescribed temp. In this state, when the bead setter 12 is furthermore progressed, the contact bonding rollers 31 are moved along the joining parts 7 while pressing the joining parts 7 from the outside and the joining parts 7 are contact-bonded.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable different size tire to be molded, and improve productivity and quality, by providing a movement means wherein the bead ring and turn- down holder are divided into a plurality of arcuate segments, and synchronously moved in the radial direction to cause them reach a radial position corresponding to respective tire size. CONSTITUTION:A bead ring 27 and a turn-down holder 28 are divided in a plurality of arcuate segments 36 which separate peripherally, a guide means 20 supporting movably in the radial direction is provided. A cam follower 60 is rotatably supported in the state of being inserted in a cam groove 41 in each guide block 38. Consequently when a cylinder 51 is operated to rotate a cam ring 19, each arcuate segment 36 is moved synchronously by push of the cam groove 41 into the radial direction; when a certain size tire is to be molded, movement in the necessary range of movement and movement to a radial position corresponding to the size of the tire to be molded for size change are carried out.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make improvements in a feeling of driving comfortableness and in a span of durability, by constituting a reinforced layer, to be installed in a treated part of a high-performance tire, in a ways of winding a strip member, covering plural continuous cores with rubber, and altering the winding density in a cross direction. CONSTITUTION:A reinforced layer 30 to be set up between a belt 27 and a treated part 25 is formed in a way of winding a strip member 36, forming continued 1-8 pieces of core members 32 in a line and covering them with rubber as one body, on an outer circumference of the belt 27 several times spirally in the circumferential direction, while this winding density is optionally altered in the cross direction of a tire. For example, at an outer reinforced layer 30a of the belt 27, it is made into duplex winding but at an inner reinforced layer 30b, it is into single winding. With this constitution, a uniformity level, a feeling of driving comfortableness and durability are all well improvable.
