Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a tire for a heavy duty vehicle having excellent abrasion resistance and breaking resistance, by using a blended rubber of a given wt. ratio comprising a polybutadiene rubber having a specified property and a natural rubber and/or a polyisoprene rubber as a tread. CONSTITUTION:A polybutadiene rubber having at least 90% or more of cis-1,4 bondings, whose weight-average molecular weight (Mw) is in the range of 500,000-1,200,000, the ratio of Mw to number-average molecular weight (Mn) is in the range of 5-15 and values of Mw and Mn has a relation represented by the equation is prepd. 10-50pts.wt. this polybutadiene rubber and 90-50pts. wt. natural rubber and/or polyisoprene are blended. The blended rubber thus obtd. is used as a tread rubber to prepare a tire for a heavy duty vehicle. The obtd. tire is suitably used for a tire for a truck, a bus or an airplane.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve durability by forming a space rubber and a soft stiffener rubber with a rubber composition to which a specified quantities of a specific bismaleiamide derivative and a C-nitro-compound are added. CONSTITUTION:A space rubber 7 which is provided on the end part of a belt layer 4 and a soft stiffer rubber 8 which wraps in the end part of a carcass which is folded back at a bead part 1, are formed by a rubber composition which is formed by adding a 0.2-10pts.wt. of bismaleiamide derivative whose general formula is represented by the formula I and a 0.2-5pts.wt. of a C-nitro- compound, to a 100pts.wt. of rubber component consisting of a rubber which is selected from a group consisting of a natural rubber and a diene group synthetic rubber. Due to this formation, durability can be improved.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively moderate the hardness of a floor member while maintaining a feeling inherent to a planer building member made of rigid materials, and to ensure smooth walking on the floor member, by forming a porous rubber layer on the rear surface of a planar building member. SOLUTION: A floor member 3 is composed of a rigid planar building member 1, and a porous rubber layer 2 formed over the entire surface of the rear surface of the building member 1. The thickness of the rubber layer 3 is set to a value 3 to 20mm in average, and the rubber layer 3 is made of a compression molding of pulverized rubber having an averaged particle size of 0.2 to 25mm. Then, in such a case that the floor member 3 is laid over a concrete floor surface through the intermediary of an adhesive, the hardness of the floor building member 1 can be effectively moderated while a feeling inherent to the planar building member 1 due to a compressive deformation of the rubber layer 2 during walking on the floor member 3 is maintained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a hot adhesive property between an alamide fiver cord and rubber, by pressurizing and vulcanizing the rubber reinforcing alamide fiver cord treated to adhesion with a specific treater and a rubber constituent mixed with a bismaleamide compound of specific quantity and sulfur. CONSTITUTION:A radial tire makes a toroidal carcass consisting of plies of radial cords to be parallelly arranged with each other and a tire tread reinforcing belt having cords surrounding the crown part and being parallelly arranged with each other as main reinforcing materials. In the said constitution, at least either side of the carcass and the belt is formed by a rubber cord complex, burying a rubber reinforcing fiber cord made up of being treated with a resorcinol formaldehyde/rubber latex adhesive in a rubber constituent containing a 0.5-10pts.wt. of a bismaleamide compound permaterial rubber 10wt. and a 0.5-10pts.wt. of sulfur each.

CONSTITUTION:The objective rubber-cord composite is produced by compounding (A) a rubber-reinforcing steel cord with (B) one or more rubber composition obtained by adding (i) 0.1-10pts.wt. of the straight-chain methylene bismaleimide of formula (n is integer of 1-6) (e.g. N,N'-hexamethylene bismaleimide) to (ii) 100pts.wt. of a rubber such as natural rubber, polyisoprene rubber, styrenebutadiene copolymer rubber, polybutadiene rubber, etc., and vulcanizing the composition at 150 deg.C for 20min.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a rubber-cord composite having improved adhesivity of rubber and cord and heat-aging resistance of the rubber, by coating a rubber- reinforcing cord composed of steel cord with a specific rubber composition. CONSTITUTION:The objective rubber-cord composite is produced by compounding (A) 100pts.(wt.) of a rubber consisting of one or more kinds of natural rubber, polyisoprene rubber, styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber or polybutadiene rubber with (B) 0.5-20pts., preferably 0.5-10pts. of zinc sulfide, (C) 0.1-30pts., preferably 4-7pts. of zinc white, and (D) 30-90pts. of reinforcing carbon black, wherein the weight ratio of B/C is 0.1-5.0, preferably 0.2-0.3 and covering a reinforcing cord composed of steel cord with the obtained rubber composition.
