    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a bead by constituting a subchafer from at least four cord layers provided with a plurality of inside and outside cord layers respectively and forming a triangle truss construction having nodes of three of four layers as apexes. CONSTITUTION:A tire is provided with a carcass 1 having a folded-back portion 2 turned back around a bead core 5, and main and subchafers 3, 4 are respective ly provided on the upper and lower portions of ply end 7 of the folded-back portion 2. Then, the subchafer 4 is constituted from at least 4 cord layers of at least two inside cord layers 4-1, 4-4 added to the outside cord layers 4-1, 4-2. The respective two of four outside and inside cord layers 4-3-4-4 sandwich respectively the meridian of tire and cross each other so that a triangle truss construction having nodes of three of four layers as apexes is formed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve case durability and separation characteristics of the captioned tire for aircrafts and others by using high elastic factor aromatic polyamide fiber for the outer ply and by specifying ratios of elasticity factors of the inner and outer plies and gauge ratios between layers in the maximum curvature section. CONSTITUTION:Using low elasticity factor aromatic polyamide fibers for the inner ply cord and high elasticity factor polyamide fibers for the outer ply cord, ratio of elasticity factors E1/E0 between the both cords is made to be from 0.3-0.8. The gauge ratio d/l (d: cord diameter, l: gauge between cords) between layers in the maximum curvature section extending between the shoulder part and bead part under a condition of no load or no internal pressure is set to between 0.65-0.85. With this constitution, the case durability and the separation characteristics can be improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve separation resistance and partial wear resistance in a radial tire for an air plane, by setting a distance between cords of a circumferential belt layer in a central area smaller than that in both side areas. CONSTITUTION:The radial tire includes two carcass layers 11 and 12, four circumferential belt layers 21-24 and two oblique belt layers 31 and 32. A central area CW is set to about 85% of a ground contact width Tw of a tread 40 under load. A distance between cords of the circumferential belt layers 21-24 in the central area CW is set smaller than that in both side areas. For example, in at least the outermost circumferential belt layer 24, the distance between the cords in the central area is set to 1.4mm, and the distance between the cords in both side areas is set to 2.4mm. Thus, it is possible to improve separation resistance and partial wear resistance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve separation resistance and partial wear resistance in a radial tire for an air plane, by setting a strength of cords of a circumferential belt layer in both side areas higher than that in a central area. CONSTITUTION:The tire includes two carcass layers 11 and 12 formed by cords arranged at right angles to a circumference of the tire, circumferential belt layers 21-24, and oblique belt layers 31 and 32. The circumferential belt layers 21-24 are formed by aromatic polyamide fiber cords, and a central area of the belt layers is set to about 85% of a tread width Tw under load. A strength of the cords of the belt layers 21-24 in both side areas is set greater than that in the central area. For example, the strength of the cords in both side areas is set to 165kg/cord, and the strength of the cords in the central area is set to 112kg/cord. Thus, it is possible to improve separation resistance and partial wear resistance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve followability with axial compression movements in a shoulder part of a circumferential belt cord ever so high, by setting a modulus of covered rubber in a belt cord ply to being higher at the central part zone but to lower at both side zones, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A tire consists of two carcass plies 11 and 12 set up at angles of 90-75 deg. with the circumferential direction, four circumferential belt plies 21-24 composed of almost parallel cords with the circumferential direction and crossed-belt plies 31 and 32 set up crosswise and symmetrically with each other in the circumferential direction, holding the circumferential belt ply 22 in between. In this case, at two layers off these circumferential belt plies 23 and 24 at the outermost side, there are provided with an outer zone being situated in the axial outside of a tread grounding end P and its width is LW and an inner zone being situated the axial inside of the tread grounding end P and its width is LW', while a central part zone, whose width is CW, is installed in a space between both side zones. And, a modulus of covered rubber at both these zones should be set to being lower than that in the central part zone.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make improvements in high-speed durability, by dividing a belt being installed for strengthening a tread part of a radial-ply tire for aircraft or the like into a first group of cord setup substantially paralleled with a tire equatorial surface and a second group of cord setup to be tilted to the equatorial surface. CONSTITUTION:A belt 2 consisting of cords surrounding a crown part of a carcass 1 and forming a parallel set up with each other is divided into a first group alpha (a line-up belt layer) of plural layers forming a cord setup substantially paralleled with an equatorial surface of a tire and a second group beta (a crossed belt layer) forming the cord setup tilted at an angle of 15 deg.-65 deg. to the tire equatorial surface. At least one piece among belt layers of the first group alphais set to setup width larger than 1.10 times of grounding width of a tread part 7. And, the belt layer of the second group beta is pressed in between layers of any of plies of the carcass 1 and the belt layers of the first group alpha or the belt layers of the second group beta, and it should be set to such setup width as being not exceeding this grounding width W and the setup width of belt layers of the adjacent first group alpha.

In this case, the inter-layer cord gap of the organic fiber cord is configured so as to gradually increase toward the outside from the interior of the troidal barrel shell C in a shoulder section which ranges from 0.1-0.6 times the height H of the tire, being measured from the bead base of the tire. The average dimensions of the said gap are assigned to the 0.8-3.5 times value of the cord diameter.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a heavy duty pneumatic radial tire for such as an aircraft, by specifying the ratio between the cord diameter of a carcass ply and an inter-layer gauge and equalizing the tensile strength of each ply layer when the tire is filled with inner pressure. CONSTITUTION:The ratio d/l between the cord diameter (d) of a carcass ply layer and the inter-layer gauge (L) of each carcass ply is set in the range of 0.65-0.85 and the tensile strength of each carcass layer is substantially equalized for regular rims and a regular inner pressure. Said tire is manufactured by obtaining the peripheral length of a carcass ply cord according to the shape of a product then correcting the differential length and sticking the carcass ply cord onto a former having a similar shape with that of a troidal carcass such that the tensile force of cord is identical when the tire is filled with a regular inner pressure, thereafter sticking it onto a tubular flat former and forming a green case. With such arrangement, the separation is prevented and the durability is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve durability, by specifying a thickness of a base rubber in a direction of normal line of the outermost belt layer in a prescribed area from the center of the maximum width made contact with the ground and specifying property of a base rubber, a cap rubber and a belt covering rubber in the captioned tire for an aircraft or the like. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of a base rubber layer 4 is set to 10-35% of the total thickness of a base rubber layer 4 and a cap rubber layer 5 with respect to lines N2-N4 normal to the belt layer 3 of the outermost layer within the area of 0.35 times-0.525 times of the maximum width W made contact with the ground. A tangent loss at a normal temperature after curing is set at 0.17 or less to the base rubber layer 4, at 0.22 or less to the cap rubber layer 5 and at 0.15 to the rubber covering the belt 3. The 100% modulus of the base rubber layer 4 is set to 60-80% of the cap rubber layer 5 and 40-70% of the belt covering rubber. With this arrangement, durability property at the time of a high speed traveling and overloading is improved.

CONSTITUTION:A ply layer is constituted by covering the cord prepared form the fiber made of the aromatic copolyamide consisting of the unit A represented by the prescribed formula I and the unit B represented by the formula II, by the coating rubber which is made by compounding resorcin in 2.4-4.5wt. parts and silica in 2-10wt. parts into 100wt. parts of the rubber composition consisting of natural rubber and the blend rubber of natural rubber and isoprene rubber and whose 100% modulus after vulcanization is set to 35-50kg/cm . With such constitution, durability can be improved, and weight can be reduced.
