    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of the attaching and detaching of a recording head by preventing the clogging of a discharge opening, by a method wherein the means capable of being opened and closed for isolating the discharge opening fro the open air is annexed. CONSTITUTION:The bag body 8 capable of being deformed for receiving ink 6 is contained in a case 4. An ink passage 22 is formed between a head plate 20 and a glass substrate 16 and a plurality of ink discharge openings 24 are formed in a line vertically on a head plate 20. Lateral guide glooves 30a, 30b are formed at its upside and downside on a rectangular opening part 28 and a slide plate 32 is arranged between two guide grooves. The slide plate is rectangular and a knob 34 is protruded at its upside. When not recorded, by closing the opening part by moving the slide plate 32 by manual operation of the knob 34 of a recording head 2, the ink discharge opening 24 is isolated from the open air and the vaporization of ink solvent is prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To use electrically connected parts in common and to obtain an electronic calculator with a printer, which has an excellent workability, by providing fitting parts of connector holders equipped with conductive connectors at plural places. CONSTITUTION:Corresponding to the terminal, an LSI 8, a key input signal print wiring 8a, the drive signal input print wiring 8b of a liquid crystal display 7 and a printer drive print wiring 8c are grouped and formed on an upper side flexible printed board 9. Plural terminal patterns 19 are formed at sides of the printed board 9, and at the opposite side of a printed board 15 plural terminal patterns 16b are formed. In order to connect electrically these terminal patterns 16a and 16b, the conductive connector 17 is loaded on the connector holder 18 to form in one body, which is disposed between both boards. The conductive connector 17 has the electric conductivity only in the vertical direction, whereby the printed boards 15 and 9 are fixed on an upper case 1a with a machine screw 29, and can be electrically connected.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make displayed concentration constant by means of stabilizing power supply voltage by a method wherein the transmission rate of liquid crystal shutter provided on the surface of a solder battery is controlled by the output of a solar battery. CONSTITUTION:A key board 2, a liquid crystal display unit 3 and a solar battery unit 4 are formed on the main body of an equipment 1 comprising upper and lowr cases 1a, 1b. A solar battery unit 4 is composed of a sheet type solar battery 8 formed of silicon single crystal element, a liquid crystal shutter 11 made of transmission type liquid crystal element and a light polarizing sheet 13 successively provided on the surface of a print substrate 5 while the overall surface of liquid crystal shutter 11 is formed into an electrode and the transmission rate of incoming light may be fluctuated by controlling the voltage impressed on the electrode. Finally the displayed concentration of a liquid crystal displayer 6 may be made constant by means of supplying the electromotive force of solar battery 8 as said impressed voltage to be controlled at specified value through the intermediary of a lead wire 9 and a conductive connector 7.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an electronic apparatus with printer which is freed from fear of such troubles as contaminating a table or breaking a type when printing on a rolled paper, by a method wherein printing on a rolled paper can be accomplished only when a bottom cover for a printing part for a sheet form paper is fitted. CONSTITUTION:The bottom cover 25 can be detachably fitted to a main body 1 of an electronic desk-top calculator with printer, and is provided at a central part thereof with a cylindrical projection 27 opposite to the bottom surface of the main body 1. The main body 1 is provided with a circular hole 28 for engaging with the projection 27 at a central part of the bottom surface thereof. A detecting pin 29 for detecting the engagement is slidably placed in a tubular guide 28a provided at an upper part of the hole 28. An upper part of the pin 29 is pressed by an elastic contact piece 31. When printing on the rolled paper, the cover 25 is fitted. As a result, the pin 29 is pushed upwards to bring the contact piece 31 into contact with a printed pattern 31a, thereby closing a switch 43 shown in the block diagram, so that printing can be conducted. Printing on the sheet form paper can be conducted in this condition from an electrical point of view, but the cover 25 must be detached.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent misuse due to carelessness by opening or closing rolled print paper insertion port in linkage with a print direction selector lever in an electronic appliance with a printer which enables selective printing on a rolled print paper and a sheet paper on a disk. CONSTITUTION:A printer is formed inside an outer frame thereof as indicated by 12. The printer is so arranged inside the outer frame to turn the direction of an internal plunger with a selector lever 9 and a gear 20 and a gear 26 meshed therewith. A gear 28 meshed with the gear 26 is supported on an outer frame 12. A sector-shaped projection 28a is provided on the circumference of the gear 28 and a rolled paper shield plate 27 is formed at the end at the right angle to the projection 28a. When the selector lever 9 is tilted to the seat side, with the mutual meshing of the gears 20, 26 and 28, the shield plate 27 is fixed between a slit 23 and the rolled paper insertion port 25 to make the rolled paper unable to insert.
