Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain easily operable data communication equipment without making its configuration complicated by generating an analog signal based on information inputted after a call originating request in accordance with a purpose and transmitting it to a digital line network. SOLUTION: CODEC 1011 is positioned between an ISDN interface 1010, a modem 1012 and a speaker 1013 and converts a digital signal transmitted from ISDN with DSU 1100 and the ISDN interface 1010 into the analog signal. The analog signal is transmitted to the modem 1012 or the speaker 1013, the analog signal transmitted from the modem 1012 is converted into the digital signal and transmitted to ISDN via the ISDN interface 1010 and DSU 1100. That is, the signal is transmitted to a center terminal or the like executing a facsimile information service. Besides, a DTMF signal is transmitted to the center terminal or the like after connection.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the instruction of call origination for communication corresponding to a communication class, with which normal communication is disabled, when originating a call to data communication equipment based on an instruction from an information processing terminal in a system connecting the information processing terminal and the data communication equipment. SOLUTION: When facsimile equipment 1 tries facsimile transmission through a line 14 and the side of a party gives no response as a facsimile twice or more, an incorrect dialing is discriminated. Then, that telephone number, G3 facsimile and a request for inhibiting its use are sent out to a PC 15. When the relevant information is included in a telephone directory under management, on the side of the PC 15, the use of this equipment is inhibited and displayed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repair and polish a large area substrate by a method wherein the axis positions of a revolution axis and a rotation axis are determined so that a distance between the revolution axis and the rotation axis is decreased to a value lower than the radius of a polishing pad. SOLUTION: A second drive means 16 is provided to revolve a polishing pad 12 around the revolving axis 15 is arranged at a polishing head 10 together with a first drive means 14 for rotation. The axis positions of the revolution axis 15 and a rotation axis 13 are determined such that a distance D between the revolving axis 15 and the rotation axis 13 is decreased to a value lower than the radius L of the polishing pad 12. This constitution maximizes the sectional shape of a polishing rate by the polishing pad 12 on the rotation axis when the number of rotations and the number of revolutions are equal to each other and forms a trapezoidal shape centering around the revolution axis such that the sectional shape is constant to a position suitated at some specified distance from the revolution axis. Since the degree of overlapping therebetween is optimized by forming the sectional shape described above, when scanning and oscillation are applied, a polished surface having no unevenness in scanning and being uniform and flat is provided.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease the number of output dots when an image undergoes the variation of magnification or the conversion of image resolution. CONSTITUTION:The recording resolution Pprn of a recording part 2 is higher than the image resolution Ppix of an original image when a main control part 1 expands the original image to be printed into a memory 4 and prints it at the part 2. Under such conditions, the part 1 reduces Pprn/Pprix into j/n and processes the original image every (n) lines. At the same time, the black pixels of each of (n) lines are counted. Then the repetitive output frequency is reduced as the count value of black pixels increases (and vice versa). Thus the interpolation line data are transmitted.
