Abstract: PURPOSE:To visually display function patterns obtained through various functional calculations made by using a functional electronic aclculator, by installing a function recognizing mode setting means which is to be used for performing graphic representing, etc., of functions. CONSTITUTION:When a SIN key Si is pressed, a signal passes through a data bus DH and is planted into an I/O buffer R in a CPU. When a control arithmetic section CAL detects that the SIN key is pressed, it accesses an SIN routine from a program in a memory section RM in the CPU. When a graphic printing key is pressed, the control arithmetic section CAL detects this and accesses a graph printing routine in the SIN routine. The leading address in which the graphic pattern of the SIN curve is planted, is assigned to a fixed memory GROM from an address counter AC through an address bus AB. In this way, the data are DMA-transferred to a printer PR and the graphic pattern is printed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent entry mistake, by displaying the number of the same consecutive numerals inputted at present on a display device so that the number can easily by recognized by just observing the display visually and the key operation speed can be increased. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a count pattern P3 displaying the number of inputs of the same numerals in addition to the numerals and symbols for display, and when the same numerals are keyed in plurally, the pattern P3 of the number is illuminated. When a numeral is inputted from a ten key K1, this signal is inputted to a CPU and a key discrimination circuit CON. The CPU displays the signals on a display DISP as numerals, and the discrimination circuit CON discriminates the same function key signals as the previous signals, and when it discriminates the same as the previous signal, ''2'' on the pattern P3 is illuminated. Further, in case of the input from a function key K2, the pattern P3 is distinguished. Through the repetition, the same number is illuminated in case of the consecutive key-in of the same numerals.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To minimize operator's key operation and speed up document creating operation by storing typical sentences in a ROM, and reading them in a read/ write memory and creating a document. CONSTITUTION:A document number is inputted in KANA (Japanese syllabary) or number with a KANA document conversion key K1 and document information corresponding to the document name is read out of the 1st memory ROM to the 2nd memory RAM. One of plural pieces of document information stored in a dictionary ROM is selected at random with an automatic setting key K3 for a typical part. A typical part selection key K4 is operated to select one of pieces of document information stored in the dictionary ROM. A processing part CPU follows the control procedure in the dictionary ROM to output control signals through a control part CONT. Numeric information stored in the key input storage register in a CRAM and random number information stored in the random number data storage register are impressed to a decoder DC with the keys K4 and K3 to generate an address signal and the control part CON reads the document out of a typical part storage area.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To minimize key operation and to create a document speedily by storing a document which is used repeatedly in a memory when there is the document in document information, and storing modification information to be accessed together with the document information. CONSTITUTION:Signals from key groups K1-K8 are identified by a CPU and processing is performed corresponding to a pressed key. An internal dictionary is divided into a variable part, typical part, modification part, and fixed part, which are stored in a document body in a document dictionary ROM in control code except the fixed part together with the fixed part. Specific operation is performed with the key group and the ROM is retrieved on the basis of information stored in a register in a CRAM to select and input one desired document among plural synonyms to a RAM area. Thus, the desired document is inputted and then control codes showing the variable information part, typical part, and modification part are checked in the RAM, and processing is performed when there are the codes for respective parts. When control code detection processing is completed, the document creation is completed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect a desired word, and to compress a data, by storing character information and digit position information corresponding to said character information, as a pair, and also using the head part of a character information group in common. CONSTITUTION:Character information for constituting words and phrases, and digit position information (position information indicating the order of a character from the head character of the character information concerned) corresponding to each character information concerned are stored in an ROMB and an ROMC, respectively, so that each of them becomes a pair. The digit position information corresponding to a desired character is designated by a key K2, and is stored in a numerical buffer NB. When the digit position information of said ROMB is scanned and it has coincided with said designated digit position information, a desired word (character) is detected. Also, an English word in the character information is arrayed in the alphabetical order, therefore, since the head parts are similar, each head part can be used in common. Accordingly, a data can be compressed by providing said digit position information.
