Abstract: PURPOSE:To avoid the useless consumption of the electric power supply battery while carrying the computer, by securing such constitution in that the power supply circuit is always opened when the catch of the computer is drawn out of the main body of the computer. CONSTITUTION:The constant-open type power supply switch 10 is provided on the lower surface of the base board 9 and at the side of the opening part 7a of the carrying-purpose catch storing room 7 of the electronic desk computer 1. The catch 13 is formed into a square frame, and possesses the hooking pawl part 13a having the upward elasticity and approximate to one side within the frame. When the computer 1 is used, the part 13a is at the inner part of the room 7 and touching the ceiling face to store its elastic repulsive power. And when carrying the computer 1, the finger is inserted through the opening part 7b on the lower surface to draw out the catch 13 toward the arrow A. As a result, the operator 12 is pushed up by the tip of the part 13a at the position where the part 13a coincides with the pierced hole 11. Thus the contact 10a of the switch 10 is closed to open the power supply circuit.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease the number of function keys, by previously calling out a desired one of the function keys which are written into an ROM and providing a key that can be used exclusively for the desired function. CONSTITUTION:A power supply switch 4 is turned on, and a function FK set key 5 is pressed. The number corresponding to the desired FK is supplied as shown by 01, 06, 13 and so on by means of a 10-key block 6. After this, an FK key 7 is depressed. Thus the FK called out of an ROM is designated to an f1 key 7 by an RAM, and the key 7 can be used as the ordinary FK keys sin, arctan, etc. In the same way, either one of 17 FK keys shown in the diagram can be selected and used also for an f2 key 8 and an f3 key 9, respectively. An old FK is erased if a new FK is supplied later, and the supplied FK is erased when the power supply is switched off. In such a way, the number of FK keys can be decreased without decreasing the number of functions FK.

This hood is provided to an upper case 1b detachably, and the front side consists of a display filter part 12a, and the rear half side is a paper cutter part 12b. Thus, the filter and cutter are formed in one body to decrease a forming metallic mold, thereby facilitating assembling operation.

CONSTITUTION:Data from a key is inputted to a CPU. A timer and calendar information processing part TC consists of a timer circuit and an ROM stored with calendar information, and according to indication from the CPU, a signal is led to a display driver DR to display timer and calendar information on a display device DIS. A random-number generator RN generates a two-digit numeral for specifying the address of the address part ROMA of the ROM. Namely, evey time the constant-interval signal from the processing part TC is received, a random number is generated and then sent to a comparison part HK. This comparison part HK consists of an RAM stored with all two-digit random numbers and a comparator for comparing readout data from the RAM with random numbers generated successively by the generator RN. When the result of the comparison shows a random number which is not stored in the RAM, the ROMA is specified and data is read out of an ROMB and displayed on the display part DIS.

CONSTITUTION:With a push of a key at a keyboard part KB2, the calculation result is printed once. Then 1 is plused to an operation result counter AC to perform the feed of paper once. It is decided whether the counter AC is 2 or not, and the calculation result is printed once again if the counter AC is not 2. When the counter AC reaches 2, the counter is cleared to feed the paper once. And 1 is plused to a paper feed counter PC. Whether or not the counter PC reaches 3 is decided, and the counter PC is caleared when the PC reaches 3. Thus the operation is over. In such way, the calculation result is printed twice by just a push of a key.
