Abstract: PURPOSE:To relieve the load on a user by providing a function making automatic call to the same destination as a document transmission destination for the terminal equipment and making document transmission and speech to the same destination by one time operation. CONSTITUTION:When an original is set to a reader section 23, a reader control section 28 reads a document original and one-touch key, abbreviation key and ten-key are used to enter a destination address. When a start button is depressed, the transmission processing is entered, a storage device control section 30 reads the document original and stores the data to a storage device 25. When the storage is finished, the control section 30 makes dialing to an NCU 215 via a communication control section 214, confirms the line connection and starts transmission of the document. Then the telephone set 22 is dialed to the same address as the document transmission destination and the line connection is confirmed again and the talking is started. When the transmission is finished, the transmission end processing is executed and then the document transmission and talking to the same destination are attained by one operation. When the document original is sent and a message is delivered orally, two kinds of communication are attained by one operation and the load of the user is relieved.

The operation information is read out from the storage part 16 in each processing and processing is executed in accordance with the read information. Thus, an operation means or the like can be registered in the apparatus.
