    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a musical tone having an appropriate characteristic in all compass range by executing an envelope control by the same status against the loop reproduction in all compass range of a musical tone. CONSTITUTION:Musical tone waveform data which is read out of a waveform memory 6 is given to a multiplier 9 together with an envelope waveform signal generated from an envelope generator 8 and multiplied under the control of a CPU 2. In this case, as for the waveform data which is read out, an envelope control by an envelope value of the maximum level is always executed extending from a start point address to a loop start address in accordance with all sound pitches, that is, a musical tone control in which a characteristic of the original waveform data is used as it is executed. In this state, in the loop start address after an initial time elapses, the status of the envelope waveform starts a variation and the envelope value starts to decrease, and thereafter, the envelope control conforming to the envelope waveform is executed. In such a way, a musical tone can be generated, based on the waveform data which is read out.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera and a photographing method for preventing time lag from being generated between a shooting instruction and a shooting operation, when using an optical zoom only for an image to be recorded in zooming. SOLUTION: The angle of view of a subject is selected by an electronic zoom, until shooting standby (through-image display) (Fig. 2 (b)). A zoom lens is moved to a magnification which is determined by the electronic zoom, when a photographer determines the angle of view and performs a half-shutter operation (Fig. 2 (b')); thus determining the angle of view of the subject with a smooth operation without having to be concerned about the consumption of a battery by electronic zooming, until the angle of view is determined and also preventing lags in photographing operation (image-recording operation) by to the operation of optical zooming from occurring, since optical zooming is made between the determination of the angle of view and the photographing instruction.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device which can automatically change the angle in a photographing mode. SOLUTION: A CCD storing part 2 storing a CCD 11 is prepared independently of a camera main body 1 and then rotatively attached to the main body 1. At the same time, a CCD mechanism control part 18, a CPU 15, etc., are prepared at the side of the body 1. The wireless transmitting/receiving parts 14 and 20 are prepared at the side of the body 1 and the part 2 to transmit and receive the image data etc., in a wireless system. When a shutter is pressed at a key processing part 19, the part 18 controls the part 2 at a prescribed rotating position in response to a photographing form. In a panoramic photographing mode, the part 18 rotates the part 2 at every fixed angle and an input image processor 12 writes the image data photographed at each rotating position into an input image buffer 13. When the rotation is over at the part 2, all image data stored in the buffer 13 are sent by wireless to a memory image processor 21 and then written into an image memory 22.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an image display position deciding method and device therefor which can use an image deforming function up to its limit without displaying the image data at an unexpected position when the image data are moved or deformed. CONSTITUTION:A display range is set for the component parts based on the upper left coordinates (8x, 8y) and the lower right coordinates (9x, 9y) of a display range. When a component parts is deformed, the points A', B', C' end D' of the deformed parts are moved to each optional position. At the same time, a rectangle D is decided to include all point A'-D', and the minimum X coordinate 12, the maximum X coordinates 14, the minimum Y coordinates 16 and the maximum Y coordinates 18 are calculated to show the positions of those four points on the display screen of the rectangle D. Then, the coordinates (8x, 8y) and (9x, 9y) are compared with the coordinates 12, 14, 16 and 18, respectively, to decide the display position of the component parts so that the deformed component parts is included in the display range of a rectangle C.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an image deforming method/device which can deform the image data of a bit array form without impairing the image of the original image data. CONSTITUTION:A display color (designated color) is previously set for the dots forming the contour of a face showing a part that never disappears even after deformation in the original image data shown in (a). Then, 14 horizontal lines to be displayed are selected from among 20 horizontal lines of the original image data so that these selected lines are reduced in the vertical direction. At the same time, it is decided whether the designated color is included in the non-selected horizontal lines. If the designated color is included, the designated color is shown on the precedent and subsequent horizontal lines to be displayed in place of the color that is originally shown. Meanwhile, 14 vertical dot strings to be selected are selected from among 20 vertical dot strings of the image data shown in (b) so that these selected dot strings are reduced in the horizontal direction. Then, it is decided whether the designated color C1 is included in the non-selected horizontal dot strings. This deciding result is reflected on the precedent and subsequent dots to be displayed on the same line. Thus, the image data of a bit array form can be deformed without impairing the image of the original data.

CONSTITUTION:When the vertexes of plural small polygons at the external frame of a deforming object are according to each parameter of a Bezier curve and the vertex (lattice point (p, q)) of one internal small polygon is moved, the vertexes of small other polygons are moved so that the whole of the deforming object may be smoothly deformed and the vertexes of the small other moved polygons are calculated based on the vertexes of the small polygon to be a reference after the moving. At this time, by using the both ends coordinates of the curve (xb1, yb1), (xb4, yb4), (xc1, yc1) and (xc4, yc4) and coordinates controlling the bending way of the curve (xb2, yb2), (xb3, yb3), (xc2, yc2) and (xc3, yc3) as the parameters of the curve and using the coordinate (xa, ya) after the lattic point is moved, the shape after a deformation corresponding to each calculated vertex is determined and an original image is deformed so as to correspond to the data of small polygon after the deformation.

CONSTITUTION:When the vertex (a moving reference grid point (p, q)) of an arbitrary small polygon inside a deforming object is moved to an arbitrary location where the small polygon is positioned again inside the object after a deformation at least, the vertexes of other small polygons are moved so that the whole of the deforming object may be smoothly deformed and the vertexes of other small moved polygons are calculated based on the vertex after the arbitrary small polygon is moved (a deforming moving grid point (xd, yd)). Subsequently, the shape of each small polygon after the deformation corresponding to each calculated vertex is determined, deformation processings are successively performed for original images so as to correspond to the data of the small polygon after the deformation and the whole of the image after the deformation is prepared.

CONSTITUTION:When the apexes of plural small polygons on the upper side of the outer frame of a deformed object are moved to arbitrary positions which constitute the outer frame again at least after deformation in accordance with the parameter of a Bezier curve, the apex of the other small polygon is moved so that the whole deformed object is smoothly deformed, and the apex of the other moved small polygon is calculated based on the moved apex of the arbitrary small polygon. At that time, the coordinates (xbl, ybl) and (xb4, yb4) of the both ends of the curve, and coordinates (xb2, yb2) and (Xb3, 7b3) controlling the curving method of the curve are used as data of the curve parameter. Then, the forms of the respective deformed small polygons are decided in accordance with the respective calculated apexes, and an original image is sequentially deformed so that it corresponds to data of the deformed small polygons so as to generate the whole deformed image.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To freely and smoothly deform image data of a bit array system with less memory capacity. CONSTITUTION:Image data of a whole deformed object having the image A of an 'eye' shown in a diagram 'a' is previously divided into four in a length and into six in the width. Twenty four small rectangles (1)(2)(3)-(24) in total are generated. Then, the small rectangles (1)(2)(3)-(24) are respectively deformed into different quadrilaterals (1)' (2)' (3)'-(24)' shown in a drawing (b) in accordance with a prescribed deformation rule (a line sticking method, for example) as the whole deformed object is smoothly deformed. In such a process, image data of the bit array system, which is included in the small rectangles, are deformed with the deformation of the respective small rectangles. Namely, the array of dots is changed in accordance with the degree of deformation. Thus, it is not necessary to previously possess totally different whole image data as in a conventional case, and the image B of the deformed 'eye' is obtained with less memory capacity.
