Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic recorder, in which stagnation of developer in the vicinity of the upstream side of a recording section is controlled appropriately, the developer can be conveyed stably and normally to the recording section without coagulating the developer or generating an immobile layer and a recorded image having no after-image, an image defect, etc., and having high quality can be formed stably for a prolonged term, at low cost. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric sensor 19 is disposed to the side section of the conveying path of a toner in the vicinity of the upstream side in the conveying direction of the toner of a recording section W, in which a recording electrode EL is oppositely faced adjacently to the circumferential surface of a cylindrical electrode 5. An electrode-clearance adjusting mechanism 20 bringing and separating the cylindrical electrode 5 near to and from the recording electrode EL and a conveyance-quantity adjusting member 17 rotating a regulating plate 17a and adjusting the quantity of developer conveyed to the recording section W are mounted. The conveyance-quantity adjusting member 17 and the electrode-clearance adjusting mechanism 20 are operated properly in response to the detecting value of the piezoelectric sensor 19 by a developer-conveying control circuit element not shown and a regulating clearance G and an electrode clearance D are adjusted, and the quantity of the magnetic toner in the vicinity of the upstream side of the recording section W is stably controlled approximately constantly in a proper quantity.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture an inexpensive static recording device which can control stably the held developer amount of the upstream side of a recording section in a proper quantity, feed a developer smoothly at all times to the recording section without coagulating the developer or generating a passive layer and form stably recording images of high quality without forming defective images, streaks or the like for a long time stably. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric sensor 18 is disposed on a toner feeding passage side section in the vicinity of the upstream side in the toner feeding direction of a recording section W with its recording electrode EL near-by facing the peripheral surface of a cylindrical electrode 5. An electrode clearance adjustment mechanism 19 for moving the cylindrical electrode 5 close to or away from the recording electrode EL is constituted by connecting the working of a supporting lever 19a, a cam 19b, a connecting shaft 19c, gears 19d and 19e and a driving motor 19f all together. The driving motor 19f is operated correspondingly to the sensed values of the piezoelectric sensor 18 by a clearance control circuit element which is not shown in the drawing no adjust an electrode clearance D and control stably the magnetic toner amount on the upstream side of the recording section W in a proper quantity constantly.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To form an excellent image in high resolution by focusing magnetic force lines of a recording position on a recording electrode by a method wherein a surface of a part extending at a recording position upmost near to, at least, an opposed electrode of the recording electrode is formed by a magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:A recording electrode EL is constructed by two layers of coating a magnetic layer 17d consisting of a magnetic conductive material on a surface of a recording electrode wire 17a consisting of a non magnetic conductive material. The recording electrode EL is parallel constructed in an area Z on an upstream side from a recording position W, and a drive circuit element 18 selectively applies recording voltage according to a recording data. In this case, when the recording data of one bit is, for instance, 'H', it is transferred to a surface of a cylindrical electrode 5 to form a black dot. That is, almost of magnetic force lines (indicated by the broken line) of a progressive wave magnetic field on a surface of a developing sleeve 15 are so controlled as to be focused on the recording electrode EL and be extended toward a cylindrical electrode 5 side, and a magnetic toner (d) forms a crest along said focused magnetic force wires. Therefore, on dot is accurately formed by a clear contour.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent wear of recorder head and to stabilize a recorded image of high resolution over a long period of time by bringing a recording head of the electrostatic recorder and a recording medium into noncontact with each other. CONSTITUTION:A recording electrode sheet 17 is provided so as to cover a surface of a nonmagnetic cylindrical body with a magnetic roll 16 inside. Next, horizontal circulatory paths 13a, and 13b for developer are formed on a bottom part of a developer recording tank 12. Then, auger rolls 14a and 14b with spiral blades 14a3 and 14b2 erected in the horizontal circulatory path are provided. Following that, the magnetic toner (d) agitated and made to flow by the auger rolls 14a and 14b are selectively transferred to the peripheral face of the cylindrical electrode 5 according to the recorded information and the toner recorded image is formed. Thus, the good picture of a non-contact recording method can be stably formed over a long period of time.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To stably form a recorded image with high resolution on a plain paper by opposing recording electrodes juxtaposed on a developer carrying member to a cylindrical electrode which is combined with an intermediate recording medium with a very small gap and setting a cleaning electrode on which the voltage of a reverse polarity to the electrostatically charge polarity of the developer is impressed on the surface part of the developer carrying member on an upstream side. CONSTITUTION:The leading edge part 20al of a recording electrode line 20a positioned in a recording part W is made to rise a little and exposed to the surface of an insulat ing coat 20c, then a recording action is performed. The cleaning electrode 20d made of a non-magnetic conductive material is disposed at a position set at specified length apart from the leading edge exposed part 20al of the recording electrode line to the upstream side, and a cleaning power source 20e capable of outputting the DC voltage of a reverse polarity to the electrostatically charged polarity of developer is interposed between the electrode 20d and a cylindrical electrode 5, and toner d0'' which is not transferred and left on the circumferential surface of the electrode 5 is transferred to the electrode 20d side so as to clean the circumferential surface of the electrode 5. Thus, the plain paper is used and the excellent recorded image with the high resolution is stably formed without causing an after-image.

The coil parts 4 of each group are disposed at every other (m-1) piece, the pulse width modulating current so as to sequentially reverse the direction of a magnetic pole is energized, and the pulse width modulating current whose phase is deviated is sequentially energized to m-coil parts which belong to different groups and arranged in an adjacent relation pi/m by pi/m, in an arranged order. The traveling-wave magnetic field advancing along the outer periphery of a sleeve 2 is formed, and a magnetic powder body (dt) is carried. Thus, a mechanically rotary mechanism is eliminated, and the improvement of the durability and the quality of the noise surface, and the miniaturization of the applicable equipment are attained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a printing position accuracy to conduct an electrostatic recording with a superior printing quality by a method wherein the position of a spiral electrode to be directly used for forming an electrostatic latent image is detected by a sensor for controlling a printing position. CONSTITUTION:In a segment pole 4a, respective segment electrodes 4d-1, 4d-2,... are successively arranged across an insulating board 4c in a direction (shown by an arrow C) at right angles to a direction shown by an arrow A. On the other hand, in the vicinity of the peripheral surface of a screw pole 4b, photosensors 4h-1, 4h-2 are disposed so as to be spaced a predetermined distance from the screw pole 4b. Light emitted from the photosensors 4h-1, 4h-2 are irradiated onto the peripheral surface of the screw pole 4b. The photosensors 4h-1, 4h-2 detect whether a linear electrode 4g passes through according to the difference of quantity of reflected light between the photosensors 4h-1, 4h-2. Furthermore, with the fine adjustment on the member in the direction of the arrow C, a timing of applying a high voltage to the segment electrodes 4d-1, 4d-2,... is controlled according to printing data.

CONSTITUTION:When a screw pole 4b is rotated in a direction of an arrow (b), a linear electrode 4g is moved in parallel from left to right. When a high voltage of + polarity is applied to segment electrodes 4d in response to print information at the time of movement of the electrode 4g, an electric field is formed at an intersection between the voltage applied segment electrodes 4d and the linear electrode 4g, toner t0 charged in - polarity is transferred along the lines of electric force on a sheet surface P1 to print one dot. In this case, since an insulating base 4c is interposed between the end of the segment electrode 4d and a sheet P, flow of charge from the segment electrode 4d to the sheet P is prevented, and a print image having satisfactory high resolution can be always obtained.

CONSTITUTION:A corona ion having positive polarity inverse to the friction charge polarity of toner (t) is discharged to the rear of a dielectric drum 6 by a corona discharge device and the toner (t) is uniformly adhered to the peripheral surface of the dielectric drum 6 by the electrostatic attraction force of said drum and the toner t0 adhered and carried on the peripheral surface of the dielectric drum 6 is fed to an electrode opposed part F by the rotation of the drum 6. By controlling the opening and closing of a switch 4e corresponding to printing data, an electric field is formed to the opposed part (intersecting point) of a segment electrode 4d and the linear electrode 4g provided to a screw pole 4b and the toner charged negatively is transferred from the surface 6a of the dielectric drum 6 to paper P by the force of the electric field.
