    Abstract: Novel pyridylthio-, pyridylsulphynyl- and pyridylsulphonyl-phenyl-thioureas, -isothioureas and -carbodiimides of the formula I in which R1 represents C1-C12-alkyl, C1-C12-alkyl which is monosubstituted or polysubstituted by halogen and/or C1-C6-alkoxy, or represents C3-C8-cycloalkyl, C3-C8-cycloalkyl which is monosubstituted or polysubstituted by C1-C3-alkyl, or represents C3-C8-cycloalkyl-C1-C4-alkyl; R2 and R3 in each case represent C1-C5-alkyl or C5-C6-cycloalkyl; R4 radicals in each case represent hydrogen, halogen, C1-C4-alkyl or C1-C4-alkyl which is monosubstituted or polysubstituted by halogen; n represents 1, 2, 3 or 4; Y represents S, SO or SO2; Z represents -NH-CS-NH-, -N=C(SR5)-NH- or -N=C=N-; and R5 represents C1-C10-alkyl or allyl, and their salts, their preparation, intermediates for their preparation, their use in pest control, and pesticides which contain at least one compound of the formula I as active substance, are preferably employed in the field of controlling pests on animals and plants.
