Abstract:
A calibration standard for an image processing system as an optical measuring device is described, which ensures high accuracy and the correct determination of brightness and/or tristimulus values for two-dimensional measurements. According to the invention, the calibration standard comprises at least four dimensional circles (4.1; 4.2; 4.3; 4.4) on a dimensionally stable planar surface (1).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an electronic data processing system for operations management. The aim of the invention is to develop an electronic data processing system for operations management which depicts, in a redundancy-free manner, the economic facts, findings and progressions in the individual businesses, and secures and controls the electronic data processing technical linking of all aggregates used for producing goods while integrating communications technology. The electronic data processing system is comprised of a computer system (24), of an intelligent control system (25), of a goods preparation process/goods management process (16) and of a base integration system (22), which is assigned to said computer system (24) and is connected to the intelligent control system (25) via a connection (a) and is connected to the goods preparation process/goods management process (16) via a special interface (21).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for assessing compliance with animal welfare on an animal for slaughter (1), having an image capture unit (2) with an image capture region (3) in which a section of a surface of the animal for slaughter (1) can be optically captured and in which pixels can be captured, and wherein the image capture unit (2) can provide pixel data relating to the pixels in a transmittable manner, and having an evaluation unit (4) which is connected to the image capture unit (2) and can capture the pixel data, wherein a normative model of the animal for slaughter (1) is stored in the evaluation unit (4), and wherein the normative model represents a formation of animal-related features (animal welfare indicators) conforming to animal welfare, and wherein the evaluation unit (4) can relate the pixel data to the normative model and can determine a deviation of the pixel data from the normative model and can provide said deviation as a standard deviation of the animal for slaughter (1) from the normative model in a manner which can be output. The invention also comprises a method for assessing compliance with animal welfare on an animal for slaughter, which method can be carried out using such an apparatus.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for controlling the anesthetization of an animal to be slaughtered (1) comprising a stimulation unit (2) via which a stimulation stimulus (3) can be given to an animal to be slaughtered (1), and an image capturing unit (4) comprising an image capturing range (5). Said image capturing unit (4) is designed as a 3D-camera and one part of a surface of the animal to be slaughtered (1) can be optically detected in the image capturing range, in which pixels can be collected in the area of surface and can be provided and transmitted as pixel data, and comprising an evaluation unit (6) which is connected to the image capturing unit (5) and which collects the pixel data provided by the image capturing unit (5) and said evaluation unit can determine an active movement of the animal to be slaughtered (1) from the detected pixel data and provides and transmits the control result in the event of a determined movement of the animal to be slaughtered (1).
Abstract:
A non-invasive process is described for recognising contours having complex structures with an error recognition rate tending to zero, the process being used to differentiate and identify characteristics of a slaughtered animal body on the basis of a characteristic slice by means of image processing, in particular to determine data for computing the muscle proportion, the trade class and the associated trade value and market value, and also to rate the quality of slaughtered animal bodies, taking into account legal prescriptions. According to the invention, in an error recognition process for differentiating and identifying complex structures of contours of slaughtered animal bodies, an operator at a workstation designed as a PC interacts with the computer and gives sufficient indications of the unrecognised or incorrectly recognised contour to be searched, by setting, by means of an image reproduction system, at least one support point in one or more zones in which data is to be acquired from measurements in the image of the zone of interest of the slaughtered animal body.
