Abstract: The movable wall consists of separate suspended door and or wall elements (24) possessing a top edge facing the ceiling and a bottom edge (15) facing the floor (11). The top edge of each wall element is movable along a fixed runner rail fixed to the ceiling. At least one door and or wall element, on its bottom edge has locking pieces (16). The bottom edge has first pieces (18) capable of automatically unlocking the wall locked by locking pieces. The automatic lock is undone by second appliances (13) scanned by the first pieces and fixed in or onto the floor.

Date Dec. 30, 1998Device for connecting a displaceable element, especially a glass, metal or wooden panel to a guiding device that is guided in a rail. The device includes first and second fixing members which each contain outer panels and fitting, elements which can be interconnected by an axle. The fitting elements are inserted into a cutout section on the edge of the displaceable element and interconnected. The fitting elements encompass a connection screw which can be connected to the guide device, the connection screw having a screw shaft with a screw head, a locking element and a thread. The fitting element of the first fixing member has a channel for receiving the screw shaft, the channel having channel walls, a trough for receiving the screw head and a cavity for receiving the securing element. The locking element can be stopped by a stop screw. The fitting element of the second fixing member has a recess for receiving the channel walls and an opening through which the screw head can be accessed. The assembled device can be adjusted by loosening the stop screws by a few turns and turning the connection screw until the displaceable element is set at the desired height. The stop screws are then re-tightened. The locking element is part of the connection screw and is encompassed in the device so that the top edge of the displaceable element can be drawn practically up to the rail.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device (2) for connecting a displaceable element (1), especially a glass, metal or wooden panel to a guiding device (93; 93a), said guide device being guided in a rail (91; 91a). The inventive device comprises a first and a second fixing part (31; 41). Said fixing parts contain outer panels (32; 42) and fitting elements (33; 43) which can be interconnected by means of an axle (35). Said fitting elements (33; 43) are inserted into a cut out section (11) on the edge of the displaceable element (1) and interconnected. The fitting elements (33; 43) encompass a connection screw (6) which can be connected to the guide device (93; 93), said connection screw (6) having a screw shaft (63) with a screw head (62), a securing element (61) and a thread. The fitting element (33) of the first fixing part (31) has a channel (36) for receiving the screw shaft (63), said channel having channel walls (34), a trough (39) for receiving the screw head (62) and a cavity (37) for receiving the securing element (61). Said securing element (61) can be stopped by a stop screw (53; 53a). The fitting element (43) of the second fixing part (41) has a recess (44) for receiving the channel walls (34) and an opening through which the screw head (62) can be accessed. The assembled device is adjusted by loosening the stop screws (53) by a few turns and turning the connection screw (6) until the displaceable element (1) is set at the desired height. The stop screws (53) are then re-tightened. The securing element (61) is part of the connection screw (6) and is encompassed in the device (2) so that the top edge of the displaceable element (1) can be drawn practically up to the rail (91; 91a).

The end pieces (17, 19, 26; 17*, 19*) of the wings (14; 18) are configured in such a manner that they are suitable for retaining the damping element (12). The buffer device (10) can be manufactured cost-effectively from a single metal plate and can be completed by a damping element (12). Since the retaining spring (13) is a component part of the body (11) of the buffer device (10), the device is highly stable.
