Abstract: A contactless label chip-card is applied to a product, and contains information for identifying the product and its payment status, and a component for updating the payment status. A unit reads and updates the payment status. The unit includes a contactless reader for reading information stored in the contactless label chip-card, a device for producing a receipt based on the information received, a device for checking the payment of the receipt, and a device for updating the payment status. Abstract: Downloading of Internet information aims at maximum efficiency e.g. by accelerated display of information, or compressed transmission of HTML-pages etc but to provide loading of pre-determined sequential pages with correctly assigned priority, the loading method must take into consideration user characteristics and habits. Automatic verification of the presented information for the presence of links to other information, at the latest during the display of the information by the browser, is required. Automatic assignment of priorities takes place to the identified links which are then automatically loaded with assigned information corresponding to their priority in the client store.

Abstract: The method according to the invention is based on representing packages of data, and particularly Java objects, in serialized form on a storage medium before they are transmitted or stored, examining them for non-application-dependent identifications and representing the non-application-dependent identifications by substitutes which require little storage space. In a further embodiment, the application-dependent identifications too are represented by special substitutes. As a result of this method it is possible to represent complex data packages in a compact form without the packages having to be broken down into individual components and individually optimized. The data package is represented as a whole in a manner optimized with respect to storage space so that it can be stored on storage media, such as chip cards for example, and can be restored unchanged at any desired time on any desired system.
