Abstract: A system for exchange of data between a plurality of clients and at least one back end data store by using a central synchronization server having a connection to the clients. The clients generate data to be synchronized. The system includes a sync engine connected to the central synchronization server for performing synchronization with the central synchronization server, a single back end neutral interface associated with and connected to the sync engine, and a component assigned to each of the at least one back end data store. Each of the components include a back end dependent part having an interface with the single back end neutral interface and an interface with the assigned back end data store.

Das Verfahren weist auch ein Zwischenspeichern eines der Inhaltselemente der Gruppe zusammen mit dem zugehörigen Seed-Wert in einem Zwischenspeichersystem und ein Empfangen einer API-Anforderung durch das Zwischenspeichersystem auf, die als API-Anforderungsergebnis ein Inhaltselement der Gruppe anfordert, wobei ein Parameter der API-Anforderung ein ausgewählter Seed-Wert ist.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a new synchronization architecture for synchronization of data between different clients by using a central synchronization server linked to a Back End data store which additionally provides a cache for permanently buffering incoming updates into a permanent store by assigning an unique cache identifier (ID). Write conflicts between the synchronization server writing new entries to the cache and updates replicated from backend to cache are solved using a blocking mechanism based on the cache IDs, so that the backend updates are blocked as long as incoming updates from the clients having the same cache ID are not completely written into the cache during a synchronization session. The present invention is preferably suited for a synchronization architecture having a high number of clients connected with the central synchronization server as blocking of the Back End data store, and the connection and the transport to the Back End data store are minimized.

Abstract: The invention proposes storing a token 332 and possibly an application 312 on a mobile device 301 that interact 340-350 with an access point/verification server 302 equivalents 324,334. The storing may be part of a registration process (eg. on a website).The token may include an identification key, mobile device capabilities and user personal information (name, age, gender etc.). A history of access point logins may also be saved to the token, to allow access points to track the device/user.If the user token provides the necessary 354 information items 340, then a response 342 confirming access is provided. This results in human recognisable indication of the connection on the mobile device. This indication may be an advertisement or a coupon.The data from the token may be transmitted through a transport layer security (TLS) encrypted tunnel.

Abstract: Downloading of Internet information aims at maximum efficiency e.g. by accelerated display of information, or compressed transmission of HTML-pages etc but to provide loading of pre-determined sequential pages with correctly assigned priority, the loading method must take into consideration user characteristics and habits. Automatic verification of the presented information for the presence of links to other information, at the latest during the display of the information by the browser, is required. Automatic assignment of priorities takes place to the identified links which are then automatically loaded with assigned information corresponding to their priority in the client store.
