Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for audio noise reduction from a drone are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a first sensor to gather acoustic data and a second sensor to gather rotational motion data of a rotor. The example apparatus also includes an analyzer to match the rotational motion data to a filter and filter the acoustic data using the filter. The analyzer also is to generate an audio signal based on the filtered acoustic data.

Abstract: A system, method, apparatus and computer readable medium for hierarchical speech recognition resolution. The method of hierarchical speech recognition resolution on a platform includes receiving a speech stream from a microphone. The speech stream is resolved using a lowest possible level automatic speech recognition (ASR) engine of multi-level ASR engines. The selection of the lowest possible level ASR engine is based on policies defined for the platform. If resolution of the speech stream is rated less than a predetermined confidence level, the resolution of the speech stream is pushed to a next higher-level ASR engine of the multi-level ASR engines until the resolution of the speech stream meets the predetermined confidence level without violating one or more policies.

Abstract: An example apparatus for generating dialogue includes an audio receiver to receive audio data including speech. The apparatus also includes a verification score generator to generate a verification score based on the audio data. The apparatus further includes a user detector to detect that the verification score exceeds a lower threshold but does not exceed a higher threshold. The apparatus includes a dialogue generator to generate dialogue to solicit additional audio data to be used to generate an updated verification score in response to detecting that the verification score exceeds a lower threshold but does not exceed a higher threshold.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for transforming a signal from a vibration sensor into an approximation of a signal from a microphone are disclosed. The vibration sensor signal may be transformed by first obtaining a smooth average spectrum and corresponding deviation data for the vibration sensor signal. The smooth average spectrum may be passed through a mapping neural network to obtain a transformed smooth average spectrum that approximates a smooth average spectrum that would be obtained from a microphone. The transformed signal is then obtained by recombining the transformed smooth average spectrum with the deviation data.

Abstract: A technology is described for detecting a mechanical device. An example method may include retrieving magnetometer data generated by a magnetometer coupled to a mobile device. Magnetic features may be extracted from the magnetometer data, where the magnetometer data may be associated with magnetic field distortion patterns generated by mechanical motions of a mechanical device. Accelerometer data generated by an accelerometer coupled to the mobile device may be retrieved. Acceleration features associated with vibration patterns generated by the mechanical motions of the mechanical device may be extracted from the accelerometer data. Thereafter, the mechanical device may be identified using the magnetic features and the acceleration features.
