    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve high frequency characteristics and attainment of capacity by specifying a molecular weight of transition metallic salt of organic acid which is introduced for formation of solid electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A surface of a metal (Al) foil 1 which becomes an anode is etched and a micro bore is formed to enlarge a surface area thereof. After a dielectric thin film 2 of metallic oxide (Al2O3) is formed along a wallside of the bore on the surface, a layer 3 of solid-state electrolyte which is formed by oxidation polymerization of aromatic compound is formed on a surface of the dielectric thin film 2 to get deep into the bore. An electrode 5 of a metal (Ag paste) which becomes a cathode is attached to the other side of the layer 3 of solid electrolyte. A graphite layer 4 is used between the electrode 5 and the layer 3 of solid electrolyte, and electrode leads 6 and 7 are attached. Use of transition metallic salt of a molecular weight of 600 or more as oxidizer enables uniform coating of oxidizer on the dielectric and formation of a conductive polymer all over a surface of the dielectric.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive improvement in long-term stability of the title capacitor by a method wherein a conductive layer is formed by dry-hardening conductive paste of dry-hardening type, and packaging resin is formed by thermally setting epoxy resin using an acid-anhydride or imidazol compound as a hardening agent. CONSTITUTION:In the title solid electrolytic capacitor, a conductive layer 4 is formed by dry-hardening conductive paste of dry-hardening type, and packaging resin 5 is formed by heat-hardening epoxy resin using an acid anhydride or imidazol compound as a hardening agent. Polyolefin, polyester, polyamide and the like are named as the binder resin of the dry-hardening conductive paste used for the above-mentioned conductive layer 4. Also, as the acid anhydride to be used as the hardening agent of epoxy resin, an aromatic acid anhydride and aliphatic acid anhydride can be named. 2-methylimidazol, 2-ethyl-4- methylimidazol and the like are named as an imidazol compound. As a result, the title electrolytic capacitor, having excellent long-term stability and weatherability, can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a solid electrolytic capacitor having both excellent high frequency characteristics and low leakage current by a method wherein the introduction of the mixture of an oxidizing agent and an aromatic compound is conducted at the temperature of -30 deg.C or lower, then temperature is raised, and the aromatic compound is oxidatively polymerized at the temperature of -20 deg.C or higher. CONSTITUTION:As the mixing of an oxidizing agent and an aromatic compound and the introduction of said mixture are conducted at the temperature of -30 deg.C or lower, the above-mentioned mixture can be introduced sufficiently into the internal part of the fine holes of a porous dielectric in a substantially unreacted state. Then, the temperature is raised to -20 deg.C or higher, and oxidative polymerization is conducted. Accordingly, a solid electrolyte, consisting of a conductive high molecular compound, is formed on the surface of the dielectric including the internal part of the fine holes, and a solid electrolytic layer, consisting of a highly conductive high molecular compound, is easily formed on the surface of the dielectric. As a result, a solid electrolytic capacitor, having both excellent high frequency characteristics and a small leakage current, can be obtained.

CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of a solid electrolytic capacitor using the oxide of a film formation metal as a dielectric and a conductive high-molecular compound as a solid electrolyte, an oxidizer consisting of the transition metal salt of either of a fatty monocarboxylic acid compound, an aromatic monocarboxylic acid compound, a fatty phosphoric acid compound and an aromatic phosphoric acid compound is introduced onto the dielectric, and the aromatic compound is chemically oxidation-polymerized on the dielectric and the solid electrolyte is formed. Various methods can be utilized regarding the method of chemical oxidation polymerization. A method in which a porous molded form into which the oxidizer is introduced is exposed in an aromatic compound atmosphere and polymerization is conducted, a method in which the porous molded form is dipped into an aromatic compound solution or the like is cited.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a solid electrolytic capacitor of large capacitance having excellent characteristics to a high frequency region and also having excellent reliability by a method wherein a work electrode, which is provided in the vicinity of or making contact with the porous molded body of a film-forming metal having an oxide film, is used in an electrolyte containing monomer to be used for electrolytic polymerization. CONSTITUTION:A work electrode 2 is provided in the vicinity of or making contact with a porous molded body 1 of a film-forming metal having an oxide film. This work electrode 2 functions as the starting point of the electrolytic polymerization in which the conductive high molecular compound, as a solid electrolyte, is formed on the porous molded body 1, polymerization is accelerated easily, and the conductive high molecular compound is formed in such a manner that the fine holes are fully filled up with the conductive high molecular compound from the surface of the porous molded body 1. Consequently, as solid electrolyte having sufficiently high conductivity is filled up in the fine holes of the porous molded body 1, equivalent series resistance is made small, resonance frequency is increased to 1MHz or higher, excellent characteristics are shown as far as to the high frequency region, and a large capacitance solid electrolytic capacitor, having a large maximum allowable current and a small leakage current, can be obtained.

In such a way, it is possible to obtain satisfactory heat resistance, chemical resistance, and mechanical strength.

CONSTITUTION:An electronically conjugated aromatic polymer is used for forming a heat generating layer. The electronically conjugated aromatic polymer has such a structure that conjugation of electrons can be achieved over the entire part or a major part of the molecular chain thereof, and may be, for example, polypyrrole, polythiophene, polyfuran, poly-p-phenylene, poly-p- phenylenevinylene or a derivative thereof obtained by polymerization of pyrrole, thiophene, furan, benzene or a derivative thereof. The electronically conjugated aromatic polymer has extremely favorable heat resistance, and enables printing at high temperatures, which makes it possible to lower the viscosity of an ink or raise the sublimation rate at the time of transferring, and therefore to enhance the printing speed. In addition, a base supporting the polymer can be inserted between a conductor layer and an ink layer, whereby the production process is facilitated.
