Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely prevent a leakage by forming a flap by extending a surface sheet of a waist part and an end part of a leakage preventive sheet outside, arranging a V-shaped hydrophobic flap between both the flaps and expanding both the flaps outside, and providing a flexible member which expands and contracts in the peripheral direction of the waist part in its expanded part. CONSTITUTION:A first flap part 6 is formed by extending a liquid permeable surface sheet 2 in waist parts 5a, 5b and an end part of a liquid unpermeable leakage sheet 3 outside in the longitudinal direction of an absorbent 4. Subsequently, between both the sheets 2, 3 for forming this flap part 6, a second V-shaped hydrophobic flap 7 is arranged so that one end thereof is superposed on the surface of an end part of the absorbent 4, and both the sheets 2, 3 of a first flap part 6 are opened 8 toward the outside. Next, in this opening 8, a flexible member 9 which expands and contracts in the peripheral direction of the waist part is arranged. In such a way, fittability to the waist part is improved, and a leakage can be prevented surely.

An inner angle of the end edge 17 projected in a V-shape is 120 to 175 deg., an inner angle of the cut piece 18 protruded in an acute angle is 10 to 90 deg. and a projecting amount is 1 to 20 mm.
